  1. It's pretty simple at Silsbee. Blue Chip QB Jeremy Johnson will be the difference maker for the Tigers.

  3. Question, do you know all the top coaches in the entire state of Texas?
  4. Congrats to both these young men. Great job!
  5. ??? How do you figure that? 5 Tiger baserunners cross homeplate while only 1 Bobcat baserunner reaches home. That's just about how that's figured. ;D Now if that will happen remains to be seen.
  6. I believe the reason Nederland and West Brook do not play is more to do with West Brook upping their schedule since they have to play Ozen and Central, has nothing to do with Nederland ducking the Brook. But, I'll take Neuman and Nederland's chances over PNG's chances with West Brook anyday.
  7. That is correct, Hicks pitched 10 innings this week.
  8. The free kind. ;D
  9. Orange's Michael Arnaud will be in the next to last group to tee off today to start the third round at the Nationwide Louisiana Open. His tee time is at 1:20pm off #1. Arnaud is -7, one shot behind the leader. Arnaud Monday qualified for this event. Also, Orange's Scott Sterling is at -6, two shots off the lead. Former Lamar golfer Dawie van der Walt missed the cut.
  10. Yep, that's what you have to do when you go to dumps, get there early. ;D
  11. Well, in this case, maybe a waste of my time, but not my money. ;D
  12. No it wasn't. Silsbee had the visitors stands filled 45 minutes before kickoff. HJ officials then opened up the home side for the overflow of Tiger fans to sit. Me and my family had to sit on the HJ side. I'm telling you, the home side was pretty evenly split with Silsbee and HJ fans for that game. It was in '04, non district game. It was the same in '06 district game.
  13. Wish me luck guys as I try to Monday qualify for this event. ;D
  14. I hope HJ opens up the home side at the football stadium like they did a couple of year's ago to let the overflow of Silsbee fans sit over there. I believe Silsbee had more fans on that side than what HJ had. ;D You guys have got to get bigger visitor stands.
  15. Again, nobody is talking about the quality of play in these facilities. You can spin it like you want, but like you said, a dumps a dump. ;D
  16. I don't believe that was the point, was it? Nobody said the players and coaches were dumps, just the facilities.
  17. I'll admit, HJ's football stadium is a little bit better than HF or Orangefield's, but not much better. The gym sitiuation, well, only HF has a worse gym. Regarding these facilities, it's like you said, dumps are dumps. ;D
  18. See Lazeek, those "dump" comments irk some people. You know, when folks call that little "dump" of a gym or little "dump" of a football stadium over there in Sour Lake. ;D
  19. No. I think all the jumpers had made 3 of their 4 attempts and the shot contestants had made 2 of their 3 throws. I believe they will use these results to determine the winners of these events. I will try and get those results.
  20.
