  1. For making the last 12 months here on the site our greatest 12 months of membership! Since August of 2008 thru July of 2009, we have had 5007 members to join SETXsports.com. That is the most we have had join in any 12 month span. That's actually 42% of the total membership for this site over the last year. Again, thank you for helping us make this the best local sports site and one of the best in the entire state!!
  2. Most folks forget that 2 years ago when Lumberton made their historic run in the playoffs, being district tri-champs, they had a very weak non district schedule. Didn't seem to hurt them.
  3. Silsbee #1!!!!! ;D
  4. Yes, please. This has gone on long enough. Back to topic.
  5. What happened??? Someone catch me up. See, this what happens when you spend all day at the beach and all night in the casino. I missed everything. >
  6. How does that Cyndi Lauper song go? "True colors, shining through". AND NO I AM NOT A CYNDI LAUPER FAN!!!! So don't get any ideas. ;D
  7. Again, Silsbee will dominate like they have always have. Who said I was a reporter and had to be neutral? I did not "cover" any volleyball games last year, much less Silsbee's. I just know what I know. ;D Oh, and Rizon, if you'll look real close, you can see I am a Silsbee Tiger.
  8. WTB, I've decided you aren't going to be happy with anything I say. I tell you what, I'm going to concede to your great wisdom since you know everything about everything, you are right, you are right, you are right. Now are you going to argue about that too? I have my opinions and you have yours, thankfully I know who's right. I do to, it's WTB who is right in this case.
  9. I will get it started, Gabe. Silsbee Lady Tiger Volleyball will dominate this district. There, now let the talking begin. ;D
  10. Welcome aboard Brooke. Glad to have you here on our site.
  11. Vidor will take this one, 34-20.
  12. I didn't realize I gave you one. I am pretty sure I was talking to WTB. Notice that I quoted his post, that should have clued you in. Oh I forgot, you have a reading comprehension problem, among your other problems. Oh, and you didn't "get me". ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Your a sad sort.
  13. WOW!!!!!! but not suprised
  14. #4 just about blows any credibilty you have right out the window. That's hilarious!
  15. Oh contraire, according to DV, this is big news. Way more important to folks in this area than the Silsbee summer league tourney that actually involved over 160 players and coaches from this area. :
  16. No Walter, I don't have an issue with you. You just have issues. ;D
  17. I thought you knew me. I am disappointed.
  18. Yet you posted on that thread 14 times. Oh, BTW, you and everyone else on this site is limited to what they can say or do on here. Nobody will "do what they want" like you have stated, on this site. All must follow the rules or be subject to the consequences.
  19. I did like Silsbee's chances in 21-3A until I got some bad news on the injury front. Looks like the Tigers will be short a couple of pitchers for this next season.
  20. I for one, never thought Shannon was the caliber of player to be recruited by UT, UH, or A&M. Not even Lamar. But, I think he could play at some jucos or even a Div. II school.
  21. You using the word "ALL" is what I disagree with. Not all Southeast Texans are disillusioned to the state of basketball recruiting. You being so braod with your statements is where we disagree. I know that our area, along with many other areas across this state, have fans of that nature. But that doesn't make the whole area to be that way. You just CHOOSE to lump everyone in the same boat. Which is very funny, because you are always adament about people doing you in the same manner.
  22. I agree DV, except for the part about SE Texas being disillusioned. Shannon needed to take advantage of a couple of opportunities and he chose not to for whatever reasoning, which I don't understand. You are right, there is not a big market for a '5"6 guard who found himself to be at a disadvantage defensively, to put it lightly.
  23. Because you were the only one who was against this even being a thread. If someone else had given a report on the wedding, it would be cool. It's the fact that you change your stripes to accomadate yourself, that's why. Also, you are kidding yourself by saying that more people here wants to here about Perk's wedding over a local basketball tourney that 17 local teams were involved. That's hilarious! We'll see how many views each thread will have by next week. :
  24. No. He had some opportunities to go juco, but he did not pursue them. I am quite confused to his basketball status at this time.
