2. I will be giving Live updates of the Woodville tourney starting this morning. If I have a good enough voice latter this afternoon, I will be broadcasting a couple of games, particularly Silsbee's game @ 7:30 if they win this morning at 10:30. Stay tuned and look for a broadcast thread to be put up later today.
But he's not my son. ;)
OK....who was Silsbee's top three toughest opponent?
You want to compare 5A to 3A? 2500 students to 800? West Brook's season was no tougher than Silsbee's in relation.

 6. Enterprise stats are terrible. These are the accurate stats for Silsbee QB Jeremy Johnson: Jeremy Johnson, QB Silsbee SR. This season stats: rushing  169/850 yards  15 TD's passing  138-241-2,291 yards  19 TD's total offense    3,141 yards  34 TD's
What teams are you speaking of? Most I see have games this week and next week before district.
 9. Who is saying they can't win it all?

 13.
I thought Silsbee played the toughest schedule in 3a. Boy am I wrong. I see why Cleveland is #2 in the state. They deserve to be #1. The wins are very impressive. What I like the most about them is you can tell by their schedule they're not "Afraid" to play 4&5a schools. And they're beating them. Those kids will be in Atx come March. Who's gonna beat them??? Ummm, No they won't! (Lol)
The only "good" teams that they have played amongst those 4A-5A's is PAM and Hightower. Lutheran North, Episcopal, Westbury, Kashmere and Willowridge are not that special. Kashmere lost to Yates by 100 points for crying out loud. The best team that they have played, PAM, beat them by 27 points. I was more impressed with their wins over Stafford and New Waverly than the 4A wins. I give much credit to Cleveland for their schedule, but it's not as tough as you are making it out to be.
 14.

1998 Dayton Broncos who lost 20-14 to La Marque in the Astrodome in the regionals, then the Coogs beat a good Silsbee squad,Smithson Valley squad and lost the state title to Stephenville. The 2007 Bronco team that lost in the semi-finals to eventual state title winner Lake Travis led by QB Garret Gilbert. The 2008 Bronco team led by QB Cody Green(QB Nebraska)A.J Dugat ret.specialist/rb/wr(WR-Houston Cougars)9 graduating seniors signed or walk-ons on college teams, helped set the all-time scoring record for 11 man 4A title game w/Sulphur Springs w/total points of 118,69-49 final.2009 Broncos who led Brenham thru 3 1/2 qtrs.after injuries to all-state def.tackle Tony Hill in the 1st qtr.and Peyton Ploch in the 3rd qtr.in the Quarterfinal game @ Rhodes stadium in Katy.Brenham then beat Tivy then lost the title game to state champion Aledo late in the 4th qtr.
I think if the broncos could've got by La Marque in '98, i really think we could've had a state championship under our belt. also if the broncos would've not made the late game mistakes in 2008, i think we could've had 2 state championships under our belt. but like i said, could've. hmmmmmmm.  :'(
I disagree. I think had Dayton beaten LaMarque in the regional semis, I strongly feel that Silsbee would have beaten Dayton in the regional finals. I think Silsbee was really playing well through the playoffs and was really wanting that rematch from district. I think the Tigers would have prevailed had those two met in the regional finals. But, we'll never know. I thought Silsbee outplayed LaMarque in the regional finals, just did not capitalize on a couple of opportunities down in the redzone. Got down to the 5 and fumbled on first and goal, and then got down to the 2 and couldn't punch it in. Couple that with a blocked field goal returned for a TD and an interception returned down to the 4 yard line, and LaMarque got the breaks to win the game. Silsbee outgained LaMarque in that game by over 150 yards, just had the breaks not go their way.
 15. We will still be doing our audio broadcasts of Silsbee and Vidor games. Hopefully if I am well enough, I can get back to broadcasting Silsbee games starting Monday morning at the Woodville tourney. If not, I may still be able to do some blogging from the tourney.
 16.
Is there a schedule for which games are going to be broadcasted online to be watched?
No schedule. It's on a week to week basis. I think the next one is not until Jan. 5th.
 17. I am hearing rumblings in the Silsbee camp. ;) Stay tuned!!

It's like the All Orange Leader teams and PA News teams, they only cover the readership. The Orange Leader teams only covered Orange County, the PA News teams covered as far north as Beaumont, as far west as Winnie, and as far east as Orange.
 20.
This years Yates team may be as dominant in basketball as the '83 Dangerfield football team.... So, it doesn't matter who lines up against them in Reg 3, Yates will avg 50 point victories on their way to state
I agree, except in the playoffs, they will average 35 point wins in the 5 games they play in Region 3, not 50. ;)

 22. White of Memorial is the best PG in the area. He starts on anyone's team. The Central guard is much too small, Yates would hammer him.
 23.
Just checked with a source of mine on the team and he said he did hurt his ankle the other day but that he was at practice yesterday and he did practice.
Good news!
 24.
Has anybody else heard anything about Jacoby Turner from HJ breaking his ankle?
Not heard anything of the sort. I will do some checking.
