Most say they will play 3A this year and next (more like next ;)) and then drop down to 2A next realignment.

So that I understand the rules properly, you pick a team each week to win. If your team wins, you advance to the next week. If your team loses, you are eliminated from the contest. You are not allowed to pick the same team twice in this contest. Correct? Ok, for this week I will take CE King.

Prime Prep has a whole lot more issues to handle before they step foot on any basketball floor. That 11-3A district committee is got PP in their gun sights. They have agreed to allow PP to play varsity sports other than football for the remainder of the year as long as they abide by the UIL rules. Prime Prep could not field a varsity football team because 80% of their team was ineligible due to transfer rule. The basketball team will fall under the same scrutiny. PP's basketball coach is the former Grace Prep coach and he brought 4 of Grace Prep's players over with him, along with a Dallas Lincoln player. This may work at a private school but will not work at a school who wishes to play in a public UIL district. Those other 11-3A schools will make PP toe the line and have every "i" dotted and "t" crossed. Even though the district committee has agreed to allow PP play varsity sports after declining them that opportunity last month, Prime Prep will still have to show and prove the players for their basketball team are eligible transfers. That remains to be seen. If you ask me, Prime Prep is nothing to be concerned about. BTW, UIL said Prime Prep could play a JV football schedule if they wanted to and could play other schools varsity teams in non district play. PP played Episcopal last Friday night in a varsity non district game, Episcopal won 60-6. Even with all those transfers, PP still sucked. ;)

Silsbee --------------------------------    1    110      197    307    307.0 Silsbee had 33 carries for 110 yards, 3.33 average. 13 receptions for 197 yards, 14.3 yards a catch.

WOW!!! Lamar will possibly play 11 games before they play a home game! Also, only have 11 home games this year, down from 15 last year (not counting exhibition games). No change in season ticket prices though. Sent my money in yesterday.
