[/quote] Only the very large school districts can afford to have a "neutral" AD. The only two local districts that have this in place is Beaumont and Port Arthur, our two local 5A districts. It's kind of silly to think 3A-1A school districts could afford to have this situation. ::)

I am good with that list of schools for football. I will compile a list of schools for us to cover in basketball. I will be doing Silsbee broadcasts again and will do a weekly preview show but may look into doing shows from other venues. I spoke with Rodney Saveat, BISD AD and he is on board with us broadcasting again next year. I would like for us to do a scoreboard show but understand that we need others to pull it off. I spoke with Jordan and he has someone lined up possibly to sell advertising for the site and broadcasts. He will let us know real soon on that subject. Other issues: Time to eliminate some mods and add an admin. My choice for admin is PhatMack. As for the what mods to eliminate, Todd made a list a while back and we should take a look at that list.

Silsbee did all they could to keep the long time series between the two teams intact, but Morgan didn't want to play. These two teams started playing each other in 1923, have played 74 times over the years, every year since 1948. Just a crying shame that the series couldn't continue. Hopefully it will get back on in the next realignment.

With Jeremy only getting one year to play at Blinn, it's most likely he will switch positions unless he is able to beat out the current QB, which I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. I wish him all the success in fulfilling his dreams as a college football player.

IMO BC should just do away with Basketball......LOL [/quote] If basketball went to 3 game series, they would have to extend the season, therefore pushing baseball season back. Right now, basketball plays two rounds of playoffs per week, with regional tourney games back to back. Baseball plays 1 round of playoffs a week, including the regional semis and finals. Basketball only takes 2 1/2 weeks to reach the state tourney, baseball takes over a month to reach the state tourney. Personally, I have no problem with having a coin flip deciding if it's a 1 gamer or 3 game series.

I understand the pros and cons of 1 game versus 3 game series. What I don't understand is this insistence on baseball playoffs going solely to 3 game series. If that's the case, should basketball go to 3 game series during the playoffs?
