1.
Its that time of the year again!!!!  20-4A district play is a week away and now with nearly 1/3 of the season behind us, time to look ahead.  So, here we go! We will start with low expectations and work up...okay begin: Lumberton - O/U we score 30 points all season long.  Right now we currently have 8 points through 3 games.  With the meat of the schedule still to go through, I am taking the Under in this one.  I am even factoring that we will most likely be playing the 2's and 3's  in the 2nd half. Staying in Lumberton: O/U 2.5 times Lumberton will be the Homecoming opponent.  Lumberton has 4 district road games this year.  I am taking the Over on this one, I believe PN-G, Vidor and LC-M will host Lumberton as their Homecoming opponent. Moving to Mid-County: PN-G - O/U 2 district wins this year - We know they wil beat Lumberton and look good doing it.  They will probably beat LC-M the following week, so it will be a long two weeks of "We turned things around!", "We will probably go three rounds deep!" and "Coach Faircloth is a God and I am his loyal servant". Then they will travel to Bmt and their world comes crashing back down.  I am going with a push on this one. Nederland - O/U 1 district loss this year - The force is strong with this one.  Only 1 Tough road game @ Vidor, there is MCM and then their at home against the other contenders.  This could easily be a push, but I will take the under.  Their team is nasty on defense and I love defense! Traveling to B.F.E.: Livingston - O/U 2 hours to get there without stopping and eating - 4 district home games this year, which means SETX will be doing some late year traveling.  Construction Work and speed traps have really made this trip even that more enjoyable (especially with small kids)!!!  I am going over on this one! Coming back home: Vidor - O/U 3rd place finish in district - They get Nederland at home but have to go to the "Butch" twice in three weeks.  I believe they are going to lose 2 of those three games.  This will be a push but they will go 1st in the small school division. Speaking of "Butch": Ozen - O/U 100 people leave the stands to get concessions at half time - There is only one game all year that I can dont have to wait in line at the concession stand at half time and that is when we play the Ozen Panthers.  Most entertaining half time performances bar none.  Imagine 10,000 people at a football game, now imagine 10,000 people dancing on bleachers!  All I hear in my mind is Mystical: OOOHHHH It aint my Fault!  Did I do that? It aint my fault!! Thats it for now... be sure to reply back with your Over/Unders.  Most of us (well half, it used to be most) only have 7 more weeks of football to enjoy!
You are already wrong on one of your "over/unders". Lumberton will only be one 20-4A teams homecoming game. LCM hosts Lumberton for their homecoming. PNG has Ozen for it's homecoming, Vidor has PNG for it's homecoming and Ozen has Vidor for it's homecoming. Oh, so I will take the under on that category. ;)

 4. Just checked, it's his week 3 Region III poll. One man poll, no biggie. He has some mistakes in some of his polls. Example, got Kirbyville 2-1 and ranked ahead of East Chambers. Kirbyville is 1-2.

 7. Hmmmmmm...... a little off on this game preview: 20-4A COMPETITION Livingston vs Silsbee 7:30 PM Tiger Stadium THE BATTLE OF VILLAGE CREEK The Lions versus the Tigers. This should be an AWEsome game at Tiger Stadium. Can the Tigers notch their second victory over a 20-4A opponent, or will the Lions send the Silsbee fans home early? Who will win at Silsbee on Friday? Check back Thursday for the... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION First of all, the Battle of Village Creek was last week when Silsbee beat Lumberton. Also, Silsbee has already beaten two 20-4A teams, LCM and Lumberton. Get your facts straight. ;)
 8. Twine has played this season. Missed the 2nd half of last game due to leg injury. Not sure if he will play this week.

Was hoping it would have been 2pm.
You could skip on Silsbee's game and make it!  ;D
Silsbee's game is Friday night, this game is Saturday. Debating on either going to this game, High Island game or Lamar game.

They will float on air when district play starts. They truly will have a mega team this season. According to a couple of  reports I've gotten from this weekend (after GASO tourney this weekend) is that Houston & surrounding area teams are really watered down this season with lack of talent. 4-A is prime for a Beaumont team like Central to go a long way. In fact, maybe we should just give Central the district crown now. :-\
Who are you, and what did you do with BlueDove?? BlueDove, if you are reading this, someone hijacked your account.  ;D
I'm just expressing the vibes from several of our Central friends.  ;D
Not this Central fan or any other Central fan that I know...
That's not what you said during our commercial breaks in last night's preview show. ;) ;D

Making the thread two weeks in advance pretty much assured the thread would reach 15 pages. ::)

Which was definitely Nederland's top 6 or 7 players.  How many starters do they have back? I saw at least 3 or 4 players that I recognized.
Kelly beat Vidor 64-59 I believe. There are only 3 players that will be getting big playing time on Varsity this year playing in the fall league. Two sophomores that were on Varsity last year, Nigel Barber and Andrew Pace, and a junior transfer from Ozen I think his name is Cameron Frank. There are at least 3-4 players that will play a big part for Kelly this year playing football including a kid who apparently went to Oak Hill I haven't seen this kid play and I don't know if he was on Varsity at Oak Hill. But I think his name is Shad Wise. I think he went to oak Hill freshman or sophomore year or maybe both then went to St Pius last year I've heard he's good but I can't say say for sure as I haven't seen him play myself. That is all I know of Kelly's situation. All I know of this kid is by word of mouth so if I'm wrong on anything forgive me
Wise played on the JV team @ Oak Hill. Attended/transferred St. Pius in Houston last semester. Played for awhile with T. Henderson's Franchize All Stars this summer.
have you seen shad and Cameron play? Just wondering as I've barely seen Cameron play and I've never seen Shad play I'm trying to get an idea of how good they might be.
Yes, I've seen Shad play.Seen Cam play too. I think Kelly also have a transfer from WB, Kayce (sp?). Kelly will be better if they let them play & no politics with "little johnny".
I believe khyce went back to WB the only thing Kelly is missing is a tall player. The tallest player we have is about 6'3.
That's all Silsbee has too. ;) ;D
 19. If I were the president........ I would hit up UNLV for the first 1 million dollar donation for all these upgrades!! I want to see him get the ball rolling!! ;) ;D
