12.
WOS is always a contender and make the playoffs. They didn't make it last year due to a very good HF team. How much does WOS have coming back from a team that didn't make the playoffs?
WO-S only lost a couple of players from last year's team. They also have a very strong JV squad coming up. I believe their JV won district last year. I know they beat Silsbee both times and one of those wins was by 30!
 13.
Nederland may be a good candidate: 1) Won district last year in FB, looking good to repeat. 2) District Champs last 3 years in basketball, favored to repeat. 3) Won district in soccer 19/22 years. 4) District champs two years ago and either won or placed 2nd in district track meet last year. 5) District champs in baseball two years ago, will be a contender this year. 6) Cross Country District champs last 2 years.
Only if they were 3A.  ;) Title stated best 3A school. ;D

 15.
Dobbins is that guy that most really good teams have.  You know the guy who doesn't look all that great, so you underestimate him, but he can really play.  Always seems to be in the right spot, come up with loose balls, etc.  Think:  Kurt Rambis, Chucky Brown, Shane Battier, etc. He's a glue guy
That is an excellent anology. Perfect fit.
 16.
what what where is YES Prep
Houston area.
I saw Pearland at the Super 16 Extravaganza and with their height and skill for 5A public, they should be ranked over Spring Westfield.
Spring Westfield isn't exactly small. They return 4 starters and 10 total from last year's regional semifinal team. They have 2 '6"5, a '6"6 and '6"7 players. Pearland does have '6"8 star Cameron Reynolds along with '6"6 Hedgemen, but Pearland went just 21-15 last year, 9-5 in district and lost in Bi-district round. Westfield is the better team of the two.

Here goes: I see WO-S winning district sweeping HJ and Silsbee. In fact, HJ and Silsbee will battle for the 3rd spot with HJ winning the play in game. WO-S and HJ should be the district favorites, both should be top 5 in state. Lowly Silsbee just cannot match up.
Not quite as easy for you to do because Silsbee plays a tough schedule and is engaged in "real basketball" and has a stable full of athletes. But I do commend you for those efforts.  Funny thing about this board.  If you take the position that your team is good and you want to defend them, the critics are ready to nail you.  If you take the opposite position, the same thing applies.
I think the same applies for HJ. They play a tough schedule, have athletes, play great basketball. HJ has won state titles. If anyone should have a "woa is me" attitude, it should be Silsbee. Silsbee is the low man on that totem pole. ;)
You are getting more proficient each time you post.  However, you contention that HJ has athletes and plays a tough schedule has been invalidated for several years by of Da Dove.
And therein lies your fault in your thought process. ;)
Are you suggesting that what Da Dove says is not always accurate?  He told me(on a post on this board) that he has been wrong only three times since he began posting
I think you misunderstood what he stated. I understood that he said he is wrong 3 times as much as he is right. ;)
 20.
A more important question needs to be asked... Would Silsbee win 20-4A?  ;D
Seems as though only WO-S folks are interested in that subject. ;) ;D

 23.
Yall are forgetting one of the greatest scorers of alltime  Troy House 87-90.  i believed he played for leakey, blanco, and Ingram.  he may not of played pro ball, but this guy could straight up score.  He may have the record for most points scored in a career in high school in texas.
I remember House. Yes he is the all time leading scorer in Texas high school history. I believe this list takes in consideration what a player did during and after high school, i.e. college and pro. As for House scoring, I have seen his numbers and saw him play in state tourney. I believe you put many players in his position on those teams and given the opportunity to shoot as many times as House did, you would see someone else at the top of the all time scoring list. I really wasn't that impressed with House and his game. Played zero defense (which showed up in college) and in that semifinal I saw him play in Austin, he attempted by himself a total of 49 shots!! All he had to do was convert just 25-30% and he scores 25 or more points. I have no problem with House not being on this list.
 24.
Take WO-S and BC out of the equation.. And the same little schools that have battled it out for years are left..
What equation you talking about? What same little schools? and what does that have to do with Silsbee's schedule and them going deep in playoffs?
