1. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN SEC votes 5-0 to deny appeal for Karviar Shepherd (#TCU).
2. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Karviar Shepherd (#TCU commit) now up. His sister is here, no atty. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Shepherd is facing ineligibility in back-to-back seasons before going to college; was ruled ineligible by TAPPS in 2011.
3. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN SEC votes 5-0 to deny appeal for Emmanuel Mudiay (#Kentucky #RockChalk #SicEm).
4.

If I was not going to the SC@Dayton game next Friday, the WOS@Silsbee game would be my game of choise. I really believe Silsbee will prove to be the best team and win that district. WOS has not played an offense as good as Silsbee.
I totally disagree with you. Jasper has a better offense than Silsbee. They averaged 50 plus points a game before they played us in the 4th game of the season. Plus, they posted 31 points against Carthage, who is ranked in the state. Silsbee's offense is not better than Jasper's
Very debatable. Game comparisons: Jasper vs. Orangefield    55-14 Silsbee vs. Orangefield    48-7 Jasper vs. Bridge City      21-7 Silsbee vs. Bridge City    45-20 Carthage is giving up 21 points per game on the season. I honestly believe Silsbee has faced tougher defenses as a whole on the season than what Jasper has faced, excluding WO-S. On the season so far, Silsbee is averaging 40 points a game, Jasper 32.
5. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN SEC votes 6-0 to deny the appeal, upholding Collins' ineligibility. Bodes really poor for Mudiay and Shepherd, up next after break.
6. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Cleveland Starr is mercifully not here. But Colbert said that he's curious if anyone at the school has made a connection on players. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Emeyabbi, Roosevelt's Simon, and Madison's Johnson are up. Emeyabbi said he finds it incredulous kids wouldn't know where coach is going Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Emeyabbi said the DEC is going to have to revisit Jordan Mickey approval. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Emeyabbi said that three Denton Ryan transfers have gone back to Ryan and ask for Florence's forgiveness. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Madison's Johnson said this is not a coincidence that all the Grace Prep kids just ended up at Prime Prep.
7. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Wallace said that 5 or 6 days after informal talks w/ Forsett, did a formal interview. Wallace said he wasn't hired until mid- or late Aug. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Colbert asking for timeline: When did kids enroll, when was Forsett hired? Wallace has no concrete answers. "I didn't know I needed that." Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Wallace said he didn't acknowledge any connection between the Grace Prep transfers and Forsett until much later. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Wallace's own timeline is screwy right now. Forsett's name showed up on documents in @brett_shipp report in mid-Aug.
8.
So if WOS, Silsbee and Who ever gets in Silsbee will be big school. What about the district with Coldspring? If Huffman doesn't get in who is Big school?
If Huffman fails to make playoffs (which I am betting they do make playoffs) then Cleveland will be the DI rep. DII reps would be Coldspring and Shepherd.
9. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN No one from Arlington Grace Prep here. Marian Willard, Madison prin., now in the hot seat. 11-3A DEC chair.
10.
People can say that Silsbee's offense is the best WOS has faced the entire year (and i'm not disputing that), but I tend to think that WOS will be the best offense Silsbee has seen all year also.
That's fair to say though there is an argument that Livingston has a better offense than WO-S based on the fact that they scored 42 and 28 points against LC-M and Central when WO-S only scored 18 and 14 respectively.
11. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN The SEC chair Motheral doesn't mess around. He's shutting down some family members from RGV. He wants facts. Just the facts. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Motheral misspeaks introducing the first #PrimePrep appeal, calling the school Prime Time, before catching himself. #txhshoops
12. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN According to @DeionSanders, he asked Emeyabbi why his wife was calling a new #PrimePrep student who had enrolled just 2 days ago. #txhshoops Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Sanders also said SEC is just the next step, that this will be appealed in court while Mudiay, Shepherd and Collins are playing #txhshoops
13. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN According to Ferris coach Aaron Emeyabbi, he and #PrimePrep co-founder Deion Sanders get into confrontation 45 min. prior to SEC meeting. Corbett Smith ‏@corbettsmithDMN Emeyabbi has been the most vocal opponent of PPA on 13-3A DEC board (apart from Madison principal).

18.
Kountze does still...
???
19.
who will lead setx in scoring this year as a player per gam and what team will lead setx in points per game???
I say either Kountze or Silsbee will lead the area in team scoring points per game. I was told that Silsbee will be even more up tempo than they have been the last couple of years. That is scary. As for individual scoring, I am betting it comes from a player at a 2A school or smaller but the points per game will not exceed 30 per game. Maybe the 7 footer at Colmesneil. ;)
20. [Hidden Content] Prime Prep appeals to be ruled on.
21.
Aaw do you know who Kountze and Silsbee are gonna play since they aren't playing each other?
Are you referring to the Fred Williams Classic because neither team has each other on their schedules?
