The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks will take on the Silsbee Tigers at the Tiger Diamond, TONIGHT 7pm, in 21-3A action. Hardin-Jefferson (11-11, 2-8) lost to Bridge City Friday night, 10-2, and is eliminated from the playoff contention. Silsbee (21-5, 9-1) ranked #17 in state polls this week, took down Hamshire-Fannett 8-4, and remain tied a top the district standings with BC. Silsbee defeated HJ 19-2 in first half of district play. It is also Senior Night as Silsbee will be honoring it's seniors on their last home game of the season. Those 7 seniors are Tristan Grisham, Adam Valencia, Montana Garcia, Colin Shellhammer, Brandon Harris, Blake McNeal and Dusty Thibodeaux. According to multiple sources within Lumberton ISD, Lumberton AD/HC Alvin Credeur will be leaving Lumberton at end of school year. Sources have said he will be taking another job in the area as an assistant. I have been given confirmation of Coach Credeur leaving from 3 sources within LISD.

When a school participates in spring football, they are only allowed 1 scrimmage before season starts. If you do not do spring ball, you are allowed 2 scrimmages.
