[/quote] The reason you never saw a list of applicants because no local media outlet (newspapers, TV, radio) filed a request to get a list. I am pretty sure a list will come out tomorrow when the recommendation is made at tomorrow night's board meeting. BTW, not a prediction. ;)

Well it's gonna take 3 games to decide this series. Game 3 on tap TODAY at 2pm at Vidor HS as the Silsbee Tigers take on the Orangefield Bobcats in the deciding game to see who makes 4th round of playoffs. Orangefield (21-10) kept their hopes alive as they defeated Silsbee last night 5-3, to force this rubber game. Silsbee (28-7) absorbed their first loss in this year's playoffs and will have to bounce back to continue their fine season.  The winner of this series will take on the winner of Carthage/China Spring series.
