The Coldspring game would have been Buna's first test.

[/quote]So, you (also) are agreeing HJ has played a a weak schedule  ;D [/quote] Nothing weak about 5-a Longview- compare favorably with Central [/quote]one game  ::) [/quote] one game... that's all HJ has lost this year.  They've beaten 4A nederland (by a lot), state-ranked 2A Kountze (by a lot), [b]5A Longview (by a lot), 4A Calallen, 4A Beeville, 4A Port Lavaca, 4A Bastrop, 4A LCM, 4A Barbers Hill[/b], etc. etc.  and none of those games have been closer than 10 points.  when a 3A school plays more than half of their pre-district games against teams from higher classifications, i don't see how that's a weak schedule.  and when they dominate that schedule, i'm going to give them credit for it, even if they did have one bad loss. [/quote] I am not trying to argue the point of how strong or weak a schedule is, but just because the team is a classification or two higher doesn't make them tough opponents. What if those 4A teams you listed were just very bad 4A teams that do not compete in some of our 3A and 2A districts? 5A Longview came into the HJ tourney with an 0-7 record but they just got their football players back for the tourney. I watched them play one of their games and the potential is there for them to be a good team but they are not as good as Central.
