  1. Some of those were 5A schools like Yates and North Forest. Wheatley and Washington are still 4A DI. Kashmere, Scarborough and Worthing were the only ones that moved up to DI.
  2. How can the Bobcats compete in this district with a coach that you personally are trying to run off?
  3. The Bridge City at Silsbee game tomorrow night will be a 6:30pm varsity start. JV will start at 5pm. Broadcast for varsity game will start at 6:15pm
  4. Score by quarters 1 2 3 4 tot Big Sandy 23 23 18 17 81 LC-M 10 7 8 11 36 FT % BS 1/2 50% LC-M 6/16 38% 3 Point % BS 18/37 49% LC-M 4/11 36% Rebounds BS 35 LC-M 22 Turnovers BS 9 LC-M 18 Fouls BS 15 LC-M 8 Top scores for each team Big Sandy Angel Bullock 33 (9 three's) LC-M Katon Brown 13
  5. Big Sandy beat Nederland. I will say this, the two losses that Big Sandy has this year came against teams like Silsbee, LaMarque and Stafford. IMO, Silsbee beats Big Sandy
  6. Why Silsbee? Why not Central, Ozen, PA Memorial, North Shore, CE King, Kingwood Park, Humble, New Caney, Channelview................
  7. Looks like someone is looking for a pedestal.
  8. Lumberton non-district schedule Week 1 New Caney Porter Week 2 Hamshire-Fannett Week 3 at LC-M
  9. HJ is in the same football district that they have been the last two years. WO-S, Orangefield, Hamshire-Fannett and Liberty.
  10. Officiating?? I say, get over it.
  11. Plus with the Cleveland, Huffman, etc. district losing two schools (Coldspring and Splendora) it was very logical that the most western school (Hardin-Jefferson) be moved out of 24-4A and into 23-4A giving them 6 teams. 24-4A would get Beaumont Harmony to keep them at 7 teams. I guess Silsbee could have also been moved to 21-4A (Jasper district) giving them 6 teams, but glad they are staying. Also, have to get used to the new names of the districts. 21-4A (Diboll, Huntington, Jasper, Livingston, Hudson), 22-4A (Beaumont Harmony, Bridge City, Hamshire-Fannett, LC-M, Orangefield, Silsbee, WO-S) and 23-4A (Cleveland, Tarkington, Huffman, Liberty, Shepherd, Hardin-Jefferson). Another observation with this new realignment. 21-4A will face 22-4A in first round of playoffs while 23-4A will see 24-4A (HISD district, Kashmere, North Forest, Scarborough, Washington, Wheatley, Worthing and Yates) in Bi-District round.
  12. Playing 3 state ranked teams, winning 2 of those, wasn't a good experience?
  13. I understand that but how were we suppose to recognize him without seeing his face or at least his name or school name on jersey?
  14. week 2 and 3 is filled, I just couldn't remember what teams Coach Sutherland told me this morning. I am thinking it is Hamshire-Fannett and Deweyville. In fact, I am almost certain those are the two teams.
  15. Cannot see his face so how can you tell?
  16. Rankings have been updated for Feb. 1 and posted up top in pinned threads. Again, not much movement in state polls regarding our local teams other than Nederland getting in at #25 in 5A. SETXsports rankings with a couple of new teams with Coldspring cracking the top 12 in 6A-4A poll and for the first time in SETXsports history of our basketball rankings, Bridge City received a vote.
  17. Glad that this one is Monday night. Another chance for me to see those Wildcats. Game time is 7pm Who is going to attend?
  18. Good luck with that.
