Don't see a problem with these guys celebrating their college commitments, none of you went out there and made any of the plays these guys made to receive their offers so your opinion on how they should celebrate where they choose to go to school is irrelevant. IMO this is a great look for Central, you don't think the 7&8th graders not see whats going on with these guys. Most of them are probably role models for them, this does nothing more than help the type of program Toby is trying to build at Central and he's doing a great job IMO. Even though I'm an Ozen guy, i think if Toby stays at Central they will dominate the area in football, basketball & track. I think Ozen & WB will start losing a lot of kids to Central in the near future. 

He really is talented and works hard during the off season. The school initially had a problem putting him in a position. We knew his position but the coaches had to figure it out.

Well, he has good size, physical build, and is extremely athletic. He was actually picking up offers as a freshman before playing a down of football.

Just to let you know 8th grade is a long ways off from Varsity!!

I think its great. Gives the Underclassman a visual on what the rewards are if you work hard. With everything the district is going thru right now, why not celebrate some hard work and accomplishments. These kids deserve to feel special.

Speaking of North Forest, isn't that where Carol 'Butch' Thomas was before he made his way to BISD.  Seems like more than just a coincidence that both school districts had these problems shortly after he left.  I hope BISD gets everything straightened out soon.  The teachers and the kids are the ones who are suffering.

Central represented BMT @ State Basketball Tournament, Tony Brown signs with Alabama, Nekia Jones plays Women's Basketball @ UT. These are just a few names of many talented & educated kids in BISD. The list goes on & on Sir. Yes we have problems, yet our Children overcome these things that they can't control. While you're busy focusing on the negative, I will be Actively seeking solutions for our Children. Guys like you coin the phrase "Armpit" SMH

I've never heard of this reference. I have been to dang near every nook in TX. DFW is one of my faves & I've never heard anyone refer to us as the armpit. No disrespect to Chester, but if I were you, I wouldn't resort to name calling. You guys make comments, but can't read or descipher where other posters are from, nor understand their posts because you're too consumed with passing judgement before getting the jist. I've heard 'armpit' being used to refer to many large cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Houston, ect.... I assume It's an inside joke for any big city or town surrounded by the neighboring suburbs...

And if it's really the 'craphole' and the 'armpit of southeast Texas' then why do people from suburbs and other small towns faithfully drive here every day to work, shop, go out to eat, or other family orientated events? Doesn't sound quite like a craphole to me unless your views are majorly flawed.

On the flipside I've never in my 3+ decades of living heard anyone make plans or preparations to travel or move to Chester, Texas. Most have never even heard of it.

I was impressed with Dwight this year despite his past dramatic antics, I do not think getting Melo would be a good move, I would much rather the Rockets get Rondo or Kyrie...JMO

he aint going to LA if that's what you're thinking. Lebron respects Kobe but he will never go play with him, he doesn't want to add another ring to Kobe's legacy. He is more likely to go to Houston, Cleveland or stay in Miami after opting out and signing a 1-2 year deal. LA and NY are not even in the equation IMO.

Depends on what other moves they make.  If they sign Lebron or Melo, he has to go.  His price tag will be too high for a role-playing 3 ball shooter. 

I had told everyone before that squad was overrated lol. Imma take Central by 3 TD'S in their matchup.
