1. Tragic, the next one is schedule for June 25 from 6-2.  $40 per boat regardless if it's 1 or 2 people fishing.  $10 Big bass is $10.
2. 13 boats...$650 paid out...winning 5 fish weight was 10 lbs 14 oz, big bass was 3 lbs 5 oz both by Sean Polumbo and Rat Renzo.
3.
went fishing the neches a few weeks ago... tons of bass, but no keepers... i heard that 2-3 14 inchers often wins these things... is that true?
Yep thats true, just hard to find those 14 inches or above.  Took my son out yesterday above the saltwater barrier and caught a couple but nothing above 14.
4. I haven't been boating as long as some other people but Jergosens Marine on 11th St has my boat running in tip top shape and it's older then yours.  Turnaround time has been less the 3 to 4 days on everything.  The phone number is 14092121005 ask for Pete or Eric.
5. Bass tournament on Taylors Bayou.  June 11 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Will launch from Hwy 73 bridge.  Entry fee is $40 and $10 for the big bass per boat.  Weigh scale will be provided.  Pay at the ramp when you sign in.  You can call Richard @ 409-273-4861 if you have any questions.  This is a 100% pay back tournament.  Pay breakdown depends on number of boats. There are 5 more scheduled for later this Summer.  Thanks and hope to see there.
6. Should have spent the money years ago to expand and renovate instead of create a 3rd high school.  We would now have two pretty dominate 5A schools in Beaumont.  D3, nothing against Ozen, just remember the days when Central and West Brook games REALLY meant something.  Now it's too diluted. SFA, yea I remember the Greenies, Cougars, Buffaloes, etc.
7. Never should have created a 3rd high school in Beaumont anyway...
8. Understandable Vpbaseball, maybe we all can meet at one of the smaller yet all ready established tournaments (Anglers Quest, Get Reel, Taylors Bayou, etc.).
9. Also some other places I use to go before I got my boat.  The ponds at the end of Bigner Road in Beaumont are free.  Mitchell Lakes in Lumberton but you must pay to fish and you can't keep the bass. how's the fishing out there? I never personally had much luck at the Bigner ponds but I see a lot of people out there so they must be catching something. Mitchell ponds have some pretty good bass action, 5 pounder once.

11. There is one in PA on highway 69.  I called about it a while back and think it is $250 for the whole year for your family.
12. I'd prefer any launch ramp out of Rayburn.  Being that Bass-N-Bucks will be there that weekend just make sure it's not any of their launching points.
13. Just food for thought...you may want to put a temporary posting about the tournament under the other topic catorgories (H.S. Baseball, H.S. Football, Lamar University, etc.) for those people that don't look at the fishing forum but still have the ability to come out and fish.  I didn't look at the fishing forum for the longest cause there was never anything posted on it...
14. smitty: Of course we do!!   Don't you know that always makes you a better football team    LOL!!!!    ::) Quote from: bobbymcgee on Today at 12:09:08 PM Nederland needs a new big football stadium with field turf, a two-story press box and a fieldhouse with a natatorium in it Give us our only district loss this year and make the playoffs again and I'll make a phone call to let you'll play at "Da Butch" instead of PN-G again, lol.
15. That makes 4.  I'm cool with the $60 cause I'll get it back when I win this thing, lol.
16. Big Ford and partner...
17.
I would say June 11th on Toledo Bend.  Go out of Six Mile, best spot with the lakes as low as they are.  I'll fish if it is on an open weekend.  The next few weekends Rayburn is going to get pounded.  Entry fee of 60.00 per boat, 10.00 goes to big bass. just my 2 cents
Sounds good to me.  Would prefer Rayburn but there will be a lot going on the next couple of weeks there.  Singles or teams?
18. Where are you'll planning to fish this one at?
19. Quote from: jr1979 on April 21, 2011, 12:52:40 AM Britton Lindsey, WO-S. With Coach T, being the mann now, I have heard that the power running game is coming back and the spread will be put on the shelf. Lindsey will get the bulk of the carries, and will be running behind a fullback at alltimes this season, which will make him that much better. Also he will have several good young backs that will complement him well, which should keep him fresh and healthy throughout the season. Wish my Jaguars would get back to this type of football and soon...
20. Didn't fish in last years tourney but would be interested in one this year.
21. But in fairness to him, now that Mr. Ford is off to college, he MAY be the best in the area!  ;)
22. If he is so good, then does that mean that the coaching staff is that bad by not getting in more sets with a fullback or at least giving him more carries out of the spread?  Because you'll only know sissy ball (a quote from SFA 85) and don't utilize the talent properly, Central wins the season opener!  ;)
23.
take your kid fishing....
Just bought a boat not even a week ago for that!  We will do plenty of that but they both love their sports too!
24.
Just send your kids to The Southeast Texas Basketball School in Beaumont.
Where is that?
