I know its 2 weeks away but Nederland  Vidor is shaping up to be a great game. This game could have playoff implications for one of these teams even though it the first district game.

Really, what does this have to so with prejudice? EP has the President's face sticking out of a horse's butt...you might want to rethink that. Newsflash, just because you beat BC, don't think you're world beaters. 6A Channelview would have hund 80 points on you and you probablywouldn't score.

We ran it a few times against Channelview. We also passed about 12 times. Don't expect us to get away from the grind it out offense that has been successful; Alvin Credeur is just adding some touches to an already potent offense. I'm not making my score prediction until next week.

I can see this thread is gonna get real fun by game time. First and foremost, in the history of Vidor vs. Nederland football, have the referees EVER been for Vidor...total penalties in the series would be a wonderful statistic to have. Second, I DO NOT run the clock @ the Pirate home games (unless asked) and have never done it during a nederville game (but I sure would like to this time). Nederville might as well show up in the new black and white striped jerseys because I'm sure we'll be playing against a couple of those as well.

And whoever wins this game will be sitting home round 2 of the playoffs...lol

Wow....looked back at these predictions and no one was even close... Difference in this game was the three-point swing that occurred on the blocked PAT that CV ran back....Without that this ends 42-42 and they may still be going score for score in OT

Vidor played CV a close ball game tonight. A team that beat a good Dayton team. For a team picked before season to be a bottom dweller in 22 5A, I think made a statement tonight. We are a young team and made young team mistakes. The Pirates fans that have been with these kids since little league know just how good these kids are and how much heart and talent they have. We new going into the year we were going to have our growing lumps. What I like best about tonight is we played a good 6 a team with mostly juniors and sophomores. I also look forward to returning 16 to 18 starters next year. Great game Pirates keep your heads high and the never quit in your heart.

Vidor has some good athletes ... We moved some kids around tonight and got the puzzle a little closer to looking like a picture ... They moved #27 Trevor Duff from the Def to the off and he made some good plays... We just need to stay focused and keep working ... We have looked better each week and just need to keep our nose to the grind stone and keep at it... I'm proud of them, they never gave up... PIRATE PROUD RUNS RABID IN THESE KIDS!!!

My baby Pirates grew a little more tonight. Super proud of this team....we get to mistake free football and we'll make some noise. Big moral victory in a very close game decided by a couple of errors. We make the extra point and not let Channelview run it back (pursue), tie ballgame. Heartbreaker but looking forward to district. CONGRATULATIONS PIRATES...you played great!!! BTW, I hope Ozen cleans Spruce Creek's clock since they sat on Channelview's side and cheered for them. C'mon Ozen, REPRESENT!

It was absolutely wonderful to finally meet Smokin' Baby and the Mayfield clan. You can tell those are two great kids and I only have one thing against their father: THEY DON'T PLAY FOR VIDOR! Good luck to them Friday against Clear Lake. Represent 22-5A young men!

I predict we are about to take our ONE AND ONLY (Yes that means you too Dayton) arse whipping of the season.  We stink at defending the pass (as BHFan Mentioned) and we have to have the most fumbles of any team in SETX over the past 3 years.   :wacko:  :wacko:
