congrats to tyrese white of hamshire for making the 1st team as a running back , the 1st running back in probably 20 years from hf to make the team. he had 1,743 yrds 14 tds in just 9 games on a 2-7 ball club.  glad to see  the young man get some recognition . he was the 2nd player in schools history to have 3 straight 1,000 yrd seasons (k king the 1st) . 

I'll comment when I see the lists, not sure who is on it by the pics.  But certainly would expect Simmons who led 225a to be in if Hines was on the team.  Congrats to all the selections, especially, the 2 returning in the Dogs secondary.
 
 

I’m not gonna get into that on a public forum,but If it is about the kid that I think,it has nothing to do with playing varsity,it’s all about What’s wrong and what is right.When someone sales a home and buys a new home in a differant city for various reasons a kid shouldn’t be held accountable for a family decision..especially when it is beneficial to the well being of kid!!

You are confused about sales taxes vs income and real estate taxes.  Not close to the same if someone is not paying rent/mortgage and income taxes only sales taxes vs someone who is paying all three.

Whether he fails or not, disappointing it may be, it is still largely unimportant. Roschon is going to college to get an education and to prepare for life after, football is simply the vehicle.
The point is he got a free education even if he sucks. No one plays ball forever. No one in our family will be mad he went to UT and got a degree with a job lol.
Plus humble aint me, I'm an arse lol. The restraint i do posess is mostly out of respect for shug. Its a message board. Looking forward to that message board karma. Guess I'll get some dislikes or an angry private message lol.

What i said was harsh. Ill give ya that. Could've said it better.  I was referencing the 3 consecutive false snap penalties that occured once roschons helmet came off and he had to sit. 3 plays, 3 penalties.
False snap penalties almost never happen in any level of football.  Hopefully he gets it together and plays the game o f his life this week. I've given credit to his team mates all year most notably Riggs, Hughes and Stansbury among others.
However as far as how anyone feels, teens, parents, I don't care much at all. What I say and what Roschon does and says are separate. We're brothers, not the one individual. This is a forum too.
I'm Roschons senior by 10 years and couldn't care less what some teens or their parents think. The day he doesn't have to get 50 touches a game and place all he has worked for in jeopardy, maybe my opinion will change in that regard.

If you are to include Woodville in your opinion of who is SETX and who is not, then you have to include Newton.

Manvel had as many and likely more talent than the George Ranch team that one state.  They were extremely impressive.  Dogs were the Dogs we've loved all year.  Went down swinging.  What a season, showing Nederland is still a program to be reckoned with.  The Dogs will benefit greatly from realignment.  They've been one of the smaller D1 teams for years, so the drop will be extremely welcomed.  Congrats to the senior class of 2017, you guys played the "Bulldog Way!"

I think you pretty much came up with a great solution for BISD as a whole. Just demolish the whole rodent, insect, and mold infested district; I'm certain TEA and UIL would applaud.

PLEASE, PLEASE KFDM get another anchor for your sports. Heather Healy is so absolutely terrible. Every broadcast I try to count how many mistakes she makes and I always loose count around 10 or so. Instead I should count how many times she uses her mistake cover phrase "Rather".

Hughes has played at RB, hopefully against Texas City he sees a lot more touches. He is much quicker and faster than the sophomore and hits the whole hard. And I agree clock management was better and I would like to see Mecca Wrecka, Riggs and Stansbury in the defensive backfield in critical situations at the end of a game if needed. Nothing wrong with putting your best hands back there. And number 20 needs to see the field, defensive backfield....
