Several get pretty defensive when I make statements like that. And really? I've been sitting here taking it every time someone picks us to lose to Hardin. Lol my statement was a very logical and fair statement.

Offensive Coordinator will be Jordan Wood from Linden-Kildare HS.

Defensive Coordinator will be David Nelson of Jacksonville HS.

Assistants:

Steve McQueen, former HC at Kountze, coming from Rusk. McQueen will also run the middle school program.

Coleman Butter is a recent graduate of Texas State.

Returning coaches are (as far as I know):

Reggie Williams, RB
Randy Williams, OL/DT
Joe Wilroy, OLB/WR
Ronnie Brown, WR
Trevor Rainey, QB

History doesn't mean anything when you haven't played recently lol trust me. Corrigan will be a good test. And an opportunity to gain more respect.

Just give him three years. It will pay off. It just takes time.

But they also beat Hardin lol Woodville won't be as bad as people think. My first post was probably a stretch. Playoffs aren't on people's minds right now around here. An improvement is. I don't think it's unreasonable to say they finish ahead of Warren and/or Hardin. Hardin is overrated and Warren lost quite a bit.

I'm not going to go into a novel about how successful our PeeWee teams are like some specific fans in this district have in the past (cough cough), but I will say Woodville has a lot of talent and size coming up. The incoming 8th grade and Freshmen classes. Go watch the 8th grade if anyone doesn't believe me lol I'm a witness. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't the truth.

Woodville has never had a problem developing athletes. The problem has always been keeping on the field and off the streets so they can help their team and school be successful. Hopefully Coach Waldie can help improve in that area.

He is definitely talking about Northbrook. This is a program that's traditionally awful lol but it is a bigger stage and better opportunity. Good luck Tracy Franklin!

For sure lol he is LeBron. And when you're the best basketball player in the world and possibly one of the best ever, you can do that.

And it may not even be the number he's looking at. He may want a more guaranteed contract. If he signs an extension now, he is guaranteed a lot more money over the next 2-3 years than if he stays on for one year and has to try to restructure his contract or sign with another team. Excersizing his ETO gives him all the leverage in the situation.

Don't get me wrong, I think Kirbyville will be above average this year. But, personally, I don't see them living up to that ranking.

Micheal Waldie, current Asst. HC an Defensive Coordinator at Jacksonville HS was approved by the WISD school board to be the next Head Football Coach and Boys Athletic Coordinator! He has collegiate coaching experience and spent some time as a recruiting coordinator for several colleges as well! Good luck Coach Waldie!

One: Colleges "look at" anyone with an average-to-good GPA. It's academic recruiting. It's used to boost a school's academic standing. With that said, congratulations. You are one of millions of highschool students across America that receive letters from colleges every year. Lol

Two: I know for a fact that there are some very well-educated people on this site (that probably got "looked at by colleges for academics" as well). That includes myself. Don't get your feelings hurt and start taking shots at people because you're a little offended about something that was said. That, sir, is childish.

Three: NO collegiate ELA professor will pass a paper that uses over-extended sentences and has as many grammatical errors as your previous comment.

I guess he got tired of all those D1 recruits, JV all-district players, and constant online efforts to win by display of all-time records.
