1. Oh, you shouldn't have to worry about Canyon, they have only been to state tournament 23 times, it's not like they are playoff experienced.
 2. Good Luck to the Lady Broncos, a very talented team.
 3. BH JV went 32-0 but didn't get too many close games.  It would of been good to play Ozen or Central.  Ozen beat our JV last year in a reasonably close game at a tournament but we didn't see them this year.
 4. Coach E does a good job and you can see him involved at all levels.  There are not many varsity coaches that are willing to work at that low of a level (Sutherland is another one).

Din't seem interested in playing in the 3rd place game. They need to change their attitude if they want to win. BH is not going to hand u the trophy for just showing up.
Wow, you are usually crying about the refs by halftime.  Coach English is a very good coach, he'll get their attitude adjusted if needed at half.  Sounds like game is a good one.  I wish I could of made it.  Good luck to both teams.
U must have selective reading. I make objectionable observations, and I have never once cried on this board about the refs. Anyway, back to the game: End of 3: Ned 42 BH 39
Let's see...First game you agreed with Beechnut on getting hosed on some calls. Second game - no complaints during beat down of Anahuac Third game - you had to drop a "Looks like another 5 on 8" though you made it better with smiley face oh and Refs are clueless!!!  comment when you didn't understand the technicals Fourth game - Complained about 3 seconds not being called though you showed you didn't know the rules on 3 seconds with your explanation.

 7. Dayton was tough last year and have gotten mature.  They lost a key player (multi-year starter) to knee injury before the season but are playing some good ball this year.  I hope the PG is okay.
 8. No way Ozen can beat Brenham.....oops, I thought this was preview thread.  Congrats to Ozen and good luck in the next round.
 9. This happens a lot in middle school girls games as some schools will have 7th graders with 5 years or more experience and some schools will have players just starting to play organized ball.  It creates bad habits for the winning team and it can be tough on the losing team.  Oh, and those are the worst games to have to officiate.
 10. Congrats, that is a great accomplishment.  Good luck in Austin.  I was fortunate to watch state finals a few years ago and it will be a great experience for the young man.  We had Pete Rodriguez finish behind Layne and he will be there also.
 11. Yes, they were good last year and have most coming back.  They will be tough this year.
 12.
Day is 20-11 with 1 tie against BH since 1933  ;) ]
Bronx Rox, you can't use facts against BH 89-2
 13.
Rematch. Lets get the hype started. I'm expecting over 1000 posts. (at least)
I think this is 907....so, not 1000 yet.  If match up happens this year, then 1000 will be met very soon.

All I'm sayin is any program that the players run not the coaches watches football games from da stands not the sidelines come playoff time. Question for you............ Ask #1 who is sitting on da sidelines how much he cares about the coaches "philosophy" compared to his chance to be on da field at 100%. ANSWER.... #1 just wants to be out there no matter what ANYBODYS says. Put your gear on and be proud to represent a program that anybody would love to have half the sucess that it has have for the last 15 years. So again I will stick by SHUT UP AND PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plenty of talented kids quit under coach Stewart as well. Kids quit because they don't want to play, and they give a million reasons why. Stewart was hard on kids and a lot chose not to play, or bother even coming out when Stewart was there. When the community (players parents) start to trash the coach kids listen. This is when it is important to really support a program, when things aren't going good. There are plenty of things I would like to say to grown men who would get on here to spread rumors and speculate on the lives of teenagers but its hardly the place. Broncos are not done by a long shot, there is plenty of football left to be played in Dayton and many more playoff games in years to come.
Good Post.  Very important for the parents to back the coach and the program.  Dayton still has a good shot of making the playoffs and the kids need to know there is support from everywhere.
 16. Good job to both teams.  Hopefully none of the injuries are serious.
 17. Good luck to Jeff.  He is a hard worker and will bring some intensity.
 18. wow, great representation from SE Texas.  Congrats to all that made it to Austin and to those that brought home medals.
 19. Don always supported track over here.....Good Luck to HF, but day 2 will probably belong to WOS, as they always do well in relays.
 20.
Kori Soignet won dist 25 1A with her personal best of 5'-4"...just missed 5'-6"...
5'-2" won 1A High Jump last year so good luck to her at regionals.
