1. Except for Tim Donaghy, refs don't care who win or lose.  The bad ones are bad for both teams as are the good ones.  Some call tight games and some let everything go.  Coaches and players have to figure that out early and adjust.  In an Area playoff game you should see good refs.  Good Luck Central.  Win this for your ticket to Regionals.

Duncanville and Pflugerville are the only teams playing above everyone right now and they are both 5A.
Lmao wow I really hit a nerve didn't I.
and you didn't hit a nerve.  I know you haven't seen any playoff games after the 2nd round before, but you do like to keep spouting how every team except Vidor is bad.  Central and BH are still in the playoffs and hopefully they both will win this week.  Good luck to both.
Please point out to me where I said every other team is bad except vidor?? Don't worry I'll wait.  8)
Not going to dig too deep, so okay not every other team...just that Ozen only beat y'all by stalling at the end of the first game.  I remember you shooting down Lumberton a good bit and saying that Central wasn't as good as Vidor.  Maybe not talking down all teams but you sure seemed to cheer against any local team that wasn't Vidor.
 3. Good note.  Those young ladies worked hard in the offseason and improved a lot over the year.  I hope they keep working hard as it's great when there are a bunch of good teams in the area.  Good luck to those seniors graduating in whatever they do.

 5.
Sorry but i don't see any way of BH winning this.
I don't mind getting a prediction like this from the least knowledgeable fan on the site.
 6. HillGuy, they are coming together more and playing better each week.  The 4 teams that have beat them are all still in the playoffs.  (3 in 5A and 1 in 4A).  Good luck to Shannon.
 7. Class 4A Regional Qtr. - Barbers Hill vs. Georgetown, 7:00 p.m., Tuesday in Brenham
 8. Next game in Brenham.  Tuesday night at 7:00 against Georgetown.  Keep working hard girls.
 9. Good Luck to Nekia at UT.  Ozen had a good season and got knocked out by a quality team.

 11.
Conally just made it in rankings as #24 have a good record i would say yes they are a quality team.Everyone that is still playing now is quality.
Connally is good.  There are still 64 teams playing and each week it will get tougher and tougher.  Vidor and Central have the toughest matchups this round of the 4A schools in this area.
 12. 4 is better than 3 to get rid of the bye.  This week there were 4 games where #4 beat #1 in 5A or 4A I think.  True some districts don't have 4 quality teams but there are exceptions.  Duncanville's district's #6 seed had 20 overall wins and didn't come close to playoff.  Some don't even have 1.  It also gives those up and coming teams a chance to get a taste of the playoffs.  I think Vidor made it as #4 seed in 2011 and now they are in as #2 seed and have won their first round.
 13.
Vidor should win by about 15-20 points. I saw Dayton a couple of weeks ago and their offense didn't seem to click along with playing a little erratic. As long as Vidor plays as a team of 1 not as a group of 5 this is there game to lose.
The game should be much closer than that and I wouldn't be surprised if Dayton won.  The 2nd/3rd seed matchups between 19 and 20 4A should go down to wire on both games.
 14. This should be one of the better first round games in the area.  Both teams play tough defense and play with a high level of intensity.
 15. Barbers Hill wrapped up another undefeated district run with a 20 point win over New Caney.  BH vs Lumberton in first round of playoffs on Tuesday in Winnie.
 16. Barbers Hill beat Dayton by 11 for their 42nd district win in a row.  Big game with Summer Creek Friday night at BH.
 17.
Ozen have fun with your tainted victory. We will just see who goes farther in the playoffs. The real season. After Friday night it will be a very clear picture.
The runner up in 20-4A has a much tougher route in the playoffs.  If standings stay like they are, Vidor would have Dayton in the first round and then have the #1 team in the state as their second round opponent.  Both teams can make good runs, but playoff success also depend on matchups.
