  1. Way to go BC. 5 girls 14:03 and under is good. Good luck at Regionals and hopefully a trip to Austin.
  2. Dayton looked very strong tonight, especially Green and Dugat. Coach Stewart had the whole team playing good. The only slight kink in the armour I saw was they did leave some receivers wide open a few times but overall the defense looked almost as strong as offense.
  3. The only problem I saw is that the course had some overlap and there were runners that had were sent around the final 1/2 mile loop again in the Middle School race in both girls and boys race. They fixed some of the boys placing but I know of at least one girl that missed out on a medal because of it.
  4. Hey the nome gym is one of my all time favorites. Sorry to hear about the gyms. I understand BH has a lot of damage to fieldhouse and the court there is buckled. The middle school court and the high school auxillary gym also has floor damage and probably will need to be replaced.
  5. I think her parents should get mad and move her down to Texas.....oh and in BH school district...
  6. I hope Justin and Jess (from BH) both do well. The times look very good across the board. To have all 8 with times under 1:57 is impressive. Howard Shepard Lancaster 1:53.19 Patrick Todd Dallas Highland Park 1:53.90 Danny Cuevas EL Paso Austin 1:55.31 Justin Krautz Nederland 1:56.18 Jesus Garcia Clint Horizon 1:56.44 Robin Torres Weslaco East 1:56.46 Jess Williams Mont Belvieu Barbers Hill 1:56.63 James Bonn Lockhart 1:56.86
  7. I've never been punched in the gym.....but I bet it hurts.
  8. Good thing they are ranked #1....how mad would he be if the team was bad?
  9. Congrats on a good season. I think we only won about 8 my Senior year....so I'm impressed with any team that makes the playoffs and advances.
  10. I think the majority of the fans are not overlooking LaMarque...We are just not used to being in the boys playoffs this late. Toon and his staff has these boys playing hard and it will be a good game like the last one with Central. 2:00 in LaPorte...I hope the BH fans come in mass.
  11. They won't select site of Regional girls sites until April 14th for American and National Division. The big issue for some right now is that Nationals is the same weekend as ASA state softball for some age divisions. Any organizations that see this as an issue need to have their League President contact Little Dribblers National Office.
  12. The guy that has ran the Barbers Hill boys tournaments the last couple of years is looking at doing another one. He can be reached at [email protected] , but I'm not sure of what date he is looking for. Last year he had some good teams there.
  13. BH loses 43-40 ..... and ends a good season. Good job Lady Eagles.
  14. Bay City up 37-34 late in 3rd. Sounds like I'm missing a good game.
  15. A playoff win is a playoff win. I have watched these KP girls play and their younger ones...they are tough and the coach (ex BH coach Gober) has done a good job with them and she has had the benefit of working with some of them for a few years as she got to coach some of them at Junior High. They also have a good summer program. Good luck Silsbee in the next round.
  16. I think 68-58 but again this is coming via text message from teenager. I'm stuck on travel but at least I was getting updates while watching UT/Kansas on tube. Dayton should be proud of good season and look forward to more trips to the playoffs. BH will now play a very tough Bay City team who I think is ranked in top 15 in 4A...but of course rankings are not always very true.
