When nobody on your team is hurt in a scrimmage, you win. When you see what you wanted to see in a scrimmage, you win. When you get to make necessary adjustments in a scrimmage, you win.

Sometimes everybody is a winner. Sometimes nobody is.

Based on what I have seen so far (Kountze practice, Kirbyville scrimmage) I believe Kirbyville can beat Kountze by 3 TD's. I admit, that's not a lot to base anything on accurately, but it's all I have to go on right now.
 
Of the six teams I saw scrimmage yesterday (Silsbee/Lumberton, Corrigan-Camden/Woodville, Newton/Kirbyville) Kirbyville impressed me the most. They looked the best and most ready to play. Again, it's still early and it's just one scrimmage, but I didn't expect Kirbyville to handle Newton in the manner that they did. Impressive!

Im just going to say after watching the SCRIMMAGE against Newton I think I like our chances against Kountze.   I dont think Id be mocking someone cause they predicted a 3 TD win by Kville over Kountze.  I think it will be closer than that but from what Ive read and SEEN so far it might be pretty accurate. 
 
If i had to predict this dist now Id say
 
Kville unbeaten
EC  only 1 lose
Buna  could see them also 1 lose and switched with EC
 
The 4th spot is a toss up between Woodville, Anahuac, and Kountze

I working on a report that i will post each week with stats from this district and keep a running total for the year.  Ive already set this up with most of the coaches but still have to reach out to a few.  Sound like something yall might be intrested in?

them making it 3 rounds deep with average players not getting rides should not be your concern here. 
 
The real issue here is having a team full of D1 players and cant get out of the first couple rounds.   Sounds more like a talent pool not program support.
 
If they are making it in D1 it sounds like its from pure individual athletic ability or personal achievments and not from being coached up or providing successful enviroment!  Not sure that is much of a selling point for your program!  just my thoughts!

Thread on they had problems with Kirbyville in the past it was because Kirbyville was a state powerhouse at the time.. Stop thinking like Kirbyville is gods gift to football.. You sound ridiculous in every post you make👌

I'm not saying kirbyville isn't good either and that they wouldn't beat corrgin either but you need to chill out lol

Im from Kirbyville i can tell you about some annoying parents and fans!!  

I agree Kountze will play hard and tough but don't think these boys from Kville will not show up for this game.  You might hit them on the chin but one thing I know about these Cats!  when you do you better have your left up cause they are swinging right back!   
 
I agree Woodville should have a better year...but lets face it...you've lost 2 Warren two years in a row..theres no where to go but up!

Dont worry Kirbyville will step up and fill that gap.  I still think the top two in this district are easy Ec and Kirbyville.  Kountze is the wildcard that could step into this and make it a three school district.

Kirbyville lost alot?  not returning any experience?   better check your crystal ball again birdman!  I think i have deja vu...didnt we hear this same "kirbyville overrated" stuff last year? 
 
Kville returning 15 starters...8 on offense and 7 on defense!    Majory of the key players are returning including QB, RB's(including the freshman that had very good year,,just ask Jasper)  and most of the O and D line.   Did lose a few on both sides but have a big good group of sophs that should fill that gap and the pipline of speed players that Kirbyville and Newton continue to have is still there and I have no doubt will fill these voids with talent! 
 
Kountze will be in the discussion for sure but I dont think they beat Kville
 
EC  I still have some reserves about where they land will just have to see how they turn out
 
Now, lets discuss your Eagles!   Come on man!!!   I agree teams match up different but explain to me how you have Kville losing to Woodville but beating Kountze whos is your top rank but then ending up 4th or 5th?????  
 
If Woodville has a bad taste in their mouth and looking for redemption its not from a "narrow lose to Kirbyville" its from losing to WARREN for the past two years.  Lets figure out how to beat Warren before we start going after the Kirbyville's, EC's and Kountze.   :P  :D  :D  :D
