1.
SUMMER CREEK QB IS VERY GOOD.
AGREED!
 2. 20-4A getting more interesting by the minute.
 3.
Whoever thought the NDNS would be on the rim ready to take the plunge. Since my early season prediction looks right on (PNG  2-8 or 3 -7 with a QB controversy prior to district play) I would like to make a couple more. After PNG drums Lumberton and barelt gets by LCM, we will be hearing all about how they are on a roll and may make the playoffs. However, this season is going to be the exact opposite of the last two. You will win the first 2 district games and finish with 5 loses in a row. Tough year. Also, I would not be surprised to see AJ leave the team early to go onto basketball since he is no longer the fulltime QB. I guess I will wish you better luck next year.
Wow...you should join the circus and set up a fortune telling booth...could make a lot of money..seeing into the future like that.
 4. I call them reasons...not excuses ;D
No, Im refering to you. I want it to be special ;D  But I will say come playoff time I will be cheering for ya. Want to show everyone that this will not be a 20-4A sweep as we've been told by certain posters ;)
LOL I knew you were... and yes.. our 20-4A friends across the Trinity.. Kinda think that all the time.. Now maybe Dayton won't have to be the only ones to make sure that doesn't happen... be aware there will be ALOT of talk about brooms..  ;D
I for one am zipping the lip this year...since we wound up in the dust pan last year. ;D
 6. Ironic...last season we beat Ozen and Vidor and turn around and get knocked out in the first round, while those teams go 3 rounds deep.
 7. Weird seeing him in that uniform.

Maybe next year.
Im not sure what you mean... the season started a month ago.  We have already played 3 games.  You must not have been following.  Do I need to bring you up to speed with what has happened so far???  Now if you are calling District play the "season", I understand, but are you really expecting anything that much different than what we have seen so far?  If you are, I would love to hear some insight as to why you believe that.  I would love some silver lining right now!
To be honest... yes... I am expecting improvement. Changes are made before district starts, positions changed, adjustments made. Some of these players have never even played Varsity before...takes some getting use to. Thats what preseason is for. Some teams will be in a whole different place come mid season.
So, you must be referring to ya's QB change???  I hope that works out for you, havent heard anything like that over here though, so more of the same for us I guess.  The goal of every team is to get better each week, have you seen that so far?  I havent.
The last couple of seasons we have come out slow and took some games to get rolling...so we shall see. Are you a Nederland fan?

I dont know about other districts...but I haven't really noticed schools scheduling easy games in our district. Its all about the crowd and the vibe of the event.
 10. They can keep the Big Dance in Dallas...but when you start getting to 4th round games..reliant would be nice.
 11.
It was 11-man football and not 6-man!!  89-70!!!! [Hidden Content] :o :o :o :o
No Indian jokes please ;D

 14.

As pirate girl mentioned the 4th down pass play makes me ask this question. If 2 defenders could not stop that play on 4th down to save the win how will they be able to stop the pass attack this year? Raines more accurate, Kimler,Shaw, Barrows more experienced and multiple tight ends are going to make that even tougher.
That twenty yard pass was a big chunk of the 91 yards that Raines had that game. Kinda low considering his yards per game is 120 passing yards. Plus you gotta remember that 8 out of 11 of our defense starters are back and a year better and a year bigger and more experienced which should make it even more difficult for your offense to move on us.  8)
Raines may be more accurate this year, but our boys are much better as a whole this year.  They are looking very good and you pretty much have the same match up as we all saw last year in the Vidor/Ned game and look how close it was.  People predicting Ned by 2 TD's is absurd!  Controling the ball is going to play a major factor for both teams and I think it comes down to a game that less than 20 points by each team are scored and the winner (Vidor) wins by three.  ;)
And its in Vidor this year..that might make up for those 3 points last year. And I bet the Pirates are determined more this year.
 15. Maybe its a poll looking into the future ..lol
 16.
This game won't be close. PNG is not as bad as everyone is making them out to be in my opinion. I think they will win this game by 4 TDs or more. Lumberton is definitely in a rebuilding year and struggling to score points.
Shhhhh.....we are trying to keep that a secret.
 17.
predicting a vidor dayton playoff game i see. that would definitely be interesting game. i would love to see the thread on that one lol.
Dont wish that on yourself..they will take a good team out the first round.
 18. You really really REALLY shouldnt have. Its really not a bad rap though.
 19. playoff games that could hold all of us without fighting for tickets would be nice. :D
 20. BOUT TIME!
 21.
Maybe it's just because it's MCM, but Nederland has always been a hard place for PN-G to play. Outside of that, probably Vidor, which also holds the record for the hardest stadium to get in and out of. We've played them for their homecoming several times and I swear 105 in Vidor is a parking lot everywhere from 1442 to the Jasper County line before and after that game. They really come out of the woodwork for homecoming (not surprising because they put on an awesome show). My senior year, our bus convoy took an hour and fifteen minutes to get from the interstate off-ramp to the stadium, and that was with a police escort calling traffic to the side of the road. We weren't in the stands until about the second quarter. One of the hardest places to play from the perspective of someone in the stands is probably Livingston. Long drive, small stands, overly excited announcer, lots of mosquitoes and the concessions and bathrooms are on the other side of the field, which means you have to walk on the uneven gravel track to get there. It really sucks in the rain. Nice people though.
I remember that...at Vidor...kept wondering where the band was. :D
 22. +1 also...good grief you have been talking smack...smite loaded  ;D
 23.
What in the Wide World of Sports in going wrong on the Reservation???
You know we Indians gotta have some drama...we're trying to get our own reality show.
