Anyway... 🙄 . BU had chances to win this game. 1. I have a problem with you're 6'8" and getting dunks and layups pinned at the rim., 2. Last game of the season and we still don't know how to do an entry pass into the post. Buuuut, I see we have a couple of these youngsters that have gotten better and rose to the occasion. Sky is the limit for these youngsters. They'll be ready next year. I can see the progression. Just watch.

It's crazy to me that 'people' are insinuating that WB coaching is superior to BU coaching. Just based off of the entire body of work, that opinion is probably the most asinine thing I've heard in 2025.

Yea, this not looking good. We can’t keep their PG in front of us. He keeps getting in the lane and getting to the cup or finding a wide open player for the shot. We also can’t seem to get many rebounds…. If we don’t come out with some lockdown defense, we’ll lose this game by 30.

Before the season started, I had it 1. Port Arthur 2. West Brook 3. United 4. Barbers Hill Lots have changed since then. But after seeing all of these teams, too top to bottom, no, this district is not the best in Texas. Now top heavy?, IMO, yea. I think PA and the Beaumont schools can play with a lot of those top ranked teams. But just overall, our top teams do need to correct quite a few things if they want to go far in the playoffs. Nederland - Consistancy. They do something that works then late in games, seems like they try different stuff. BU - eliminate silly turnovers and get creative on how to do post entry passes. BH - Find a better way to play consistent defense. Perimeter defense is suss. WB - (YEOJ explained this perfectly in the WB/Nederland thread) Port Arthur - consistent shooting and take more advantage of mismatches the whole game, not just in spurts. I didn’t name the other teams because I don’t believe they’ll be in playoff discussions…

BU and WB traded buckets for the last few minutes with BU scoring and Garret from WB answering every time.
