1.
Someone is attacking Trojan fans with "negative" karma! Trojan fans... Ignore Scooter...he is really a nice guy and was pulling for us when we played Kirbyville and believe me, no one on this forum (or anywhere else) thought we would win; however, Scooter stood virtually alone, for the Trojans.
Yea, that was when he thought kville and brownwood were heading for a state title matchup, now that that dream has not come to fruition, he has to root against the team that is playing the team that upset his "mighty" lions. Besides, I don't even think he has talked actual football yet. Hey scooter, would you happen to know a poster by the name of Beechnut?  :D :D :D
5 starters on D' . . 4 starters on O' equals 9
Thanks smart@$$, but i'd like to hear it from somebody that isn't a homer.
i'm a not a Homer. . . Just been luck enough to see both teams play in person, .. The Dogs are just well balance on both sides of the ball. . . .plus they will spread u thin and throw the ball to both of there D1 6'2 rec.  . . . .with speed
ummmm athens had a 6'4" d1 receiver with great speed, and he got absolutely nothing against us, so that's not a problem.
i hope you CS homers are on here friday  :D Im gonna have some fun!  ;D
Hey coldspring fans, we all need to be a little bit more understanding of scooter's condition and tone it down a little bit. Please take into consideration the fact that his unbeatable lions were, in fact, beaten and he just needs to do a little venting is all. Whenever we win the championship game this friday, don't be too hard on him, he will eventually see the light. He says will have a little fun with us, and that's ok, because he sure won't have fun cheering on the lions come this friday night.

It doesn't even matter because it looks like there not in the playoffs but know who is the Coldspring Trojans, and I'm not worried about them running the ball on us it's not going to happen if we stopped Ford from kirbyville this guy shoudnt be nothing to stop!! So they better keep the ball I'm the air but that might not last long because our D stays in QB faces, & as far as our offense goes Kirbyville was the only team that have came close to stopping our run but that only lasted for a half and I thnk that's the toughest D we've went up against this year!!! But no matter how the Bulldgs watch film & try to stop our run they will not be able to contain my nephew Gilbert & my main man Cummings!! So scooter keep on scooting, I wouldn't even get on here with a name like dat!! Are u serious!! Wow!! Why are even listening to this guy his prediction doesn't matter if his team isn't in the playoffs anymore.  go to the Basketball thread!!
kirbyville don't have the O-line like THE DOGS DO!!!    I have seen both teams play in person
like i posted earlier, our d-line sees probably better o-line man every day in practice.  When I watched film of carthage vs. argyle, I understand why yall blew them out, their d-line had absolutely no ball get off and was small, that's a bad combination. I will admit that yall have a big o-line, but we've seen plenty of teams that have had 2 or 3 290+lineman and we've handled them fine. So unless your team can march the ball up the field 3-4 yards a time on inside plays, I don't think yall will get much offensively, cus no team has been able to outrun us sideline to sideline. I think the reason kville was so successful passing against us was the formations they ran, which is similar to how we get people open, not taking away from great athletic ability of cucanic.

 7. man, they are really rootin us out on the smoaky forums. I read one say it will probably get ugly late. >:( >:( >:(

You wanna know why......... CUS OUR D IS BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand how they got beat so bad by chapel hill and NACODOCHES.
. . . .  .9 starter didn't play against CH&Nav. . . . . Kinda like when coldspring played K-vill the 1st time and didn't have one of there studs
How does that happen?
 9. No, because even if we only score 26 again, we still win. You wanna know why......... CUS OUR D IS BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand how they got beat so bad by chapel hill and NACODOCHES.

The biggest O-line Brownwood had seen this year. Um, Monahans was 13-0 for a reason so i dont know what game you actually saw.
Wimberley was 13-0 for a reason too, and they got nada against our d-fence. I bet we coulda scored 30+ if they wouldn't have been simulating our cadence the whole game.
 11.
I said may have been. I didnt think CS would beat WHS but they did. Holland is one RB. CS has 2-3 you have to deal with so CS has a chance. IMO Holland will be too much for CS. That O-line that they have puts in WORK! Trust me, no o-line has handled Brownwood all year like they did tonight.  :o
You forget that our defense has to go up against OUR o-line ,cummings, and gilbert everyday in practice. ;) ;) ;) So whatever type of athletes they have on their o-line, our defense has seen the same or BETTER throughout the season.

Geez give kids from other skewls some credit and dont sound like Barbers Hill. Geez how about some humility kid.
Once again beechnut, you've fail to comment on the topic of the thread.
11 glad you are keeping score but think the point is that there are other good football players other than from CS. Get in the game.
well, in that case, me must have a larger amount of those "good" football players or we wouldn't be as far as we are now in the playoffs and we wouldn't have beaten your team to become district champs now would we, "kid"? Isn't it your bedtime, or whatever you usually end your post with.

 14. I don't know if ford was hurt, but I would be surprised if smith is in good enough shape to get too many carries and also in that article they said the other running back was doing just fine, but smith ain't comitted to A&M for no reason so I guess we'll see.
 15. kirbyville is way better. Kville's o-line is bigger and more physical, ford is better rb, and kville's defense is more athletic if not bigger than wimberley's, I mean wimberley's main tackler is their strong side linebacker, and he's about 6'2" 165, but I will say this,  he is always in the right spot at the right time. Their O-line has one big guy that's 6'2" about 290, but very sloppy looking with slow feet. Their qb is pretty good at throwing and will run if he has too, at about 195 lbs he's pretty hard to bring down, kinda like menard from bc. You could compare their wide receivers to huffman's with all the screen's they run. There rb is still pretty solid, and he has very good patience waiting for his linemen to make holes on plays like gt and zone reads. All this information is just from watching them play cuero, and I personally think cuero should've won. I definitely think we have a good chance of winning this game, and kville scared me way more than wimberley does right now.

I hope and think we will win this one, but only if we have the mindset and focus that we did when we were preparing for kville. 35-24 coldsprings.
CHS I would smite you for keeping on about Kville...But your avatar looks so much like George Bush I hate to smite a fellow Texan... :D ;)
Also, my avatar is Joe Biden with cornrows. ;D ;D ;D
 17. I believe that the best players on the best teams deserve to get MVP honors, (I would like to see the stats of the nominee's from huffman and liberty in their playoff games.). As far as all district picks go, I look at it this way, there aren't many spots on our defense or offense to where somebody from another team could do that position's job better, hence the fact we're about to play wimberly in the semifinals.
 18.

Wimberly is definetly a good team, shown by beating navarro and cuero twice in the same year. I thought you could take it as a compliment. I'm just saying we can't look past wimberly, cus I know we sure as hell weren't overlooking yall when we played yall, and I feel like the week of practice before, we were probably having our best practices of the year as far as effort and focus were concerned. :) :) :)

 20. Dang, they navarro and cuero twice in the same year, that's pretty impressive.
 21. Really the only passing game they have is over the top or short screen passes to #5, nobody else really gets thrown to, then their leading rusher has had a gimpy ankle these past two weeks, but it was enought to beat BR so we still need to watch out defensively, but offensively I feel pretty confident in our scoring against their 50 look. Hopefully us by 14+.
 22. Kville, u know what trojan70 is trying to say.
 23. let's put this thing back on top of the list, shall we?
 24. I don't know why either, it's like we don't have very much respect at all for basketball. We have plenty of people to make a decent team that can compete until the starters get there, I mean out of district records don't mean much and that's a time we can get experience for the younger players that were on jv football, and then we have many good athletes that didn't play football but only play basketball.
