These are the best games each year in SETX. It would suck to move to a neutral site but for crowd reasons I think Ford Park or Lamar would be nice. I think it's just a shame that so many people get locked out of each gym. Especially parents who get off work later than 4pm.

Neither of those teams would beat the 1996/97 or 94/95 Tiger teams.

Silsbee will face their most difficult test of the season. This will be a very hostile environment and they will be playing a ticked off HJ team. Foul trouble and how the refs call the game will be huge! I'm going with HJ 75 Silsbee 59. Hate to do it!

I think Joe Sigler is a coach most don't give credit too. I think he is in the top 20 in Texas in Alltime wins and district title. He hasn't had the privilege of winning a state title but there aren't too many coaches in SETX who I would rather have over him.......CHURCH!

Evadale has been to state as well about 3 times since the year 2000.

Silsbee 2008 and 2010. Been to Austin 5 times total as a school.

I've seen teams with a bunch of slow basketball players out play a team of athletes many of times. Basketball skill will beat out Pure athlete all day. May not be as pretty but you will get winning results.

Coach English is doing very well at Big Ned! He deserves more credit than what he gets.
