La Marque is coming to 3A boys. My old college roommate who is a teacher there said their numbers average close to 675 on a good week. Yates won't be coming down anytime soon. HISD has had a record year for drop outs. Small the school, the less funding you get.

So what is acceptable? A 70 point win? A blow out is a blow out. Yates won't win state this year. They will lose to a Dallas Lincoln, Kimball, or Oak Cliff. They are a very sloppy team when put under pressure.

I say PA should have some how renovated Lincoln. I miss that school and all their wild fans with those umbrellas. They followed their team wherever they played. I remember back in 1989 when Sisbee lost by 2 77-75 in the playoffs. Ii think the game was at PNG or it could have been the year before.

PA Lincoln was a basketball factory! I don't know of any high school in the 80's and 90's who had more trips to state. I think Lincoln won state 7 times. I think they appeared in Austin something like 10 times. DYNASTY! Hebert won 3 I think in the 80's.

Pull them!  You never know when you will need your reserves to play heavy minutes due to injury or foul trouble. Most reserves only play 10-12 minutes anyway. If you can get a few of them some extra playing time I say do it.

Orangefield has some talent. Not sure what their classifications are but they could be a playoff team one day.
