I predict WOS going 15-1 with back to back state titles. WOS has the best returning QB, WR corp, and defense. WOS will "be about that action Boss" in 2016.

Bridge City had a very scary run game. If they can build on that with better passing game, they will be a playoff team for sure.

Silsbee did graduate Dontre Tomas but they have a 1300 20td running back and now a 1800 5A transfer and 3000 yard QB transfer coming. They still have two 1,000 yard WRs and the line will be solid. The defense will be much improved with juniors and seniors.

Any key starters returning?

I remember the 1st Silsbee Summer League back in 1996 at the old high school. Before AAU, all the best players from Silsbee, Port Arthur, Beaumont, and the entire area would attend and it was very competitive. Hopefully all the best players play this year.

Beaumont 120,000 Silsbee 6,500. Yet Silsbee has a better for academics better football program, and stronger community.

Yes they did in 7 on 7 last June in a one day tourney were Silsbee won. It was about 20 teams. Also the highlights were on KFDM 6.

3 siblings that graduated from Beaumont schools. (2) West Brook and one from Ozen.

Dontre Thomas and Barnes sure looked good vs Central last year and seemed to pay off during the season.

Silsbee is more of a football powerhouse than Ozen. Also, Silsbee football schedule this season is better than Ozens. Ozen will go 4-6 at best and miss the playoffs. If this kid what's to come to a program on the rise and get a great education, come on to Silsbee. The academics is Beaumont don't seem to be as good as they have been in the past.

How does WOS track team look this year?

I expect BMT Kelly to get to state next season. They have a very solid group of kids on the hardwood.

Ozenfinest, Silsbee smashed Ozen in that scrimmage last year. SMASHED!!! I understand you getting mad about Tyler going to Silsbee. Ozen would run him into the ground this year.

If Silsbee plans to be a more run oriented team then Tyler and Thomas would be nice in a split backfield. With Mackey and Barnes as your two big targets, Jones could set records in Silsbee. I'm curious to see how good our OL and DL can be. The defense has been the weakest link for a while now. If we can get some athletes in defense Silsbee could be scary good.
