Those two sophomore RBS from Silsbee have close to 1000 rushing each and only started about 6 games. Barnes and Collins re really playing great as well. I hope Silsbee defense steps up next week and stops that Carthage run game and we pull off the upset. Hope both teams stay healthy and play hard.

I was there last night as well and here is my take away. MCCAIN has put on an extra 15-20lbs. Not sure if he is trying bulk up some. Concordia can almost out shoot any team in the state. #10 Hellums is always on automatic. Silsbee shot far too many 3s. We shot a ot of quick 3s when I think we could have took it to the hoop on most. Bush and Adams can shoot with anyone and McCain is solid rebounding. I would like to see him shooting more. He nailed his only 3 pointer. #1 Cartwright is a solid freshman and #30 is decent down low working the boards. Great effort last night and we had the lead a few times in the 3rd qtr. I think when you add Barnes, Bass, Thomas, Lowe, and Martin, Silsbee will be able to go 8 or 9 deep. I look forward to watching them in the Cy Fair Tourney in early December.

Silsbee will go 8 deep this year strong. I this people forget about Tre Lowe and Adonis Thomas. When football is done expect the starters to be McCain, Adams, Bush, Barnes, and Chris Martin. Bench Landon Tyler, Lowe, Adonis, Bass, and a freshman or 2. Won't be near as long but very very good.

Concordia is an AAU team and are damn good.
