I'm sure that Silsbee will cause them to drop their blue chips all over the field! Silsbee has very good athletes! Our boys have always had to work for everything they get, not just have it given to them. We know most of the College Station team, because our boys have played them before...... The college station twelve. By the way, to get to this point Silsbee, has had to beat, a TOP FIVE PICK in draft, a five 3 round pick in the draft and several other blue chippers! College Station is a select team pulled from all over funneled into a 5A program, bring them on!

Congrats Silsbee, always a class act, my nephew grew up playing with the whole senior class! Nothing but respect and praise with that group over there! Congrats keep it rolling rooting for ya in the region 3!

It's the 3rd round of the class 3A baseball playoffs as the Splendora Wildcats take on the #11 state ranked Silsbee Tigers in a best of 3 Quarterfinal round playoff series starting with Game 1 TONIGHT, 7pm at Kingwood High School. Splendora (21-5) advanced to the 3rd round with playoff wins over WO-S (3-1) and Houston Furr (11-4, 7-0). Silsbee (20-6) defeated Shepherd (4-1) and Columbia (2-1, 7-0) to advance to the Quarterfinal round for the 3rd straight season. Game 2 will be tomorrow night at 7m and if necessary, Game 3 Saturday at 1pm. All games at Kingwood HS. Winner of this series will face winner of Carthage/Caldwell series.
 
Broadcast will start at 6:50pm with first pitch to follow at 7pm. Mike Sanchez will provide all the play-by play action.

So much for just congratulating Silsbee on a good job. Nelson and Porter have done a good job. This may be one of the most talented groups to come through Silsbee. Good luck to them the rest of the way.

It's just a rule of thumb to not announce the selections until all the teams in your district have completed their season. They probably do so to avoid all the distractions that usually accompany those picks. Keeps your focus on the field.

Mr intelligence might want to take a look at that again. Silsbee hasn't played Crosby at all.

Got confused many years ago. Went out to argue a catcher interference as I thought the bat hit the mitt.

Blue looked at me strange and said "Coach do you really want me to change that call?" Yes I do if you missed it. He said "Ok, take first "

It was the opposing team batting.

Fan in the stands yells at the ump "hey blue your missing a good game", ump turns around and says "I know but this is the game they sent me to"

On a pick off play I called a runner out, the coach yelled at me " you can't call him out just because he looked like he was out."
