I think common played teams is awesome for conversation, but it has the potential to make someone look like a fool when it comes to game time. Lol.. Take for instance this year....who thinks Buna could beat WO-S? Just the thought of it would make most people laugh their a--es off. But look...Buna beat Orangefield, Orangefiled beat Newton and Newton beat WO-S. Soooooo......would Buna beat WO-S? Don't be so quick to dismiss it as a possibility if you go by common played opponents. 

Remember now, polls are for making conversation not sense.

Ok. I'll ease up. I really will. I know how good Kirbyville is but I see based on me being Mr. Popular all of a sudden, that I guess I've tried shoving them down everyone's throat and that's not fun. It's not what we're here to do. I know what will happen by season's end but I guess how good we are needs to be seen and not read. So, let's talk football. I stand by my picks of 1) Kirbyville, 2) EC, 3) Buna and 4) Kountze for this district. That's what this thread was started for and I apologize for my part of getting it off track. Good luck to Buna and EC on their hunt for 2nd place. :-)

Im not surprised Kville didn't score a lot.  Jackson Gore starting QB didn't play and they rotated the rb's at QB..  Anahuac knew they wouldn't throw and stacked 10 in the box all night.

Hardin will have to play some serious defense to stop the Lions offense enough to have a shot at outscoring them. Kountze isn't strong @ defense, but are capable of putting points on the board. Hardin will have to stop it

I don't see them scoring on that defense. They flat out bring the hats every play. Not to mention they are very fast

It's going to be along ride home for us without Jenny's fried Chicken. The Coogs are going to eat our supper ! I have tried to find away to believe we could win this game and anything is possible but realistically we are over matched by Buna. Nothing negative about our boys. I just know the competion Buna has played and the competion we have played. You can not compare apples to Orange and that what you would be doing with these two schedules. I still say Buna by 28 , maybe we can find our weakness with superior competion and get better from it and stop playing inferior competion . Coach Waldie didn't make the schedule these games were from prior people. Kick Off Time

We have successfully converted Rykerx144 to a Buccaneer. LOL

Dont want to say to much this week as I dont want to get the natives worked up and heck for that fact some transplants either so I am gonna limit my opinions as to avoid conflict ...but Kountze is healthy and the coaches are working hard to make neccessary changes. Kountze is not without the talent to compete...we have guys that are being recuited on a national level and I think those guys will step up in a leadership role and help change the direction of this team. EC will get a game Friday night and Kountze will get its first win and be 1-1 in district.

Yes he is out this week but expected back the next week I hope. 

.........Newton shocks the world and takes down the giant, seals up the game late in the 3rd qtr. that's my story and I'm stick stick sticking to it!
