The more I read about Terry Evans the more I like. I feel like he is the Xs and Os coach/motivator that can help us win now yet at the same time building a program for the future like he has done at COU. You throw a proven winner like him in with this JUCO-laden team and he will win right away with them. We could make a tournament run. At the same time he would be taking the steps to build the program for the future and develop the proper recruiting relationships.

Good to hear!

congrats to all the winners

why didn't he get more touches last season? the injury?

in the end i'm pretty sure we are going to have to go to some tiebreakers

The Jasper coach is the best one on that list

Why would they not hire him?

who is making the hire? Price of Supt? I heard the supt. was leaving
hiring anyone because of color is bad business...black white yellow green
I understand. Keep in mind though that there are going to be several capable black coaches available for this job that have missed out on other jobs at major colleges because of those colleges' instiutional racism. Black coaches also have a much shorter leash than white coaches so a black coach that got fired from a job might not deserve it as much as a white coach who did.

So who does Kirbyville have besides Kael Jones?

Is Jalali a Div. I kid? As far as I am aware he is just another high school player and could be playing his final season as an athlete.

Sorry guys. They are announcing he is staying.

Press conference is set for this afternoon to announce that Roc is staying for the final year of his contract as head coach

James said on newscast that Roc was "giving stuff away"

I like Tom Penders, Rodney Terry and Matt Cross

Cross' junior college players are better than Roc's

What a great year for McNeese men and women winning conference in the same year. I like the idea of Penders. I think he could do well here. Also like UT asst coach Rodney Terry.

Lincoln can match Ozen's athleticism. I doubt Canyon can.

Canyon is a better matchup for Ozen than Lincoln. I'm guessing they will be a better version of Barbers Hill.

Cleveland vs. H-J 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brookshire Brothers parking lot in Liberty

Roc still has a year left on his deal. LU is too cheap to buy him out. He is not going anywhere. He has friends in high places. I promise you. Not buying tickets next year isn't going to make a difference because nobody buys tickets to the game anyway. If you want Roc gone then pony up the cash for the buyout or offer up money for a more suitable replacement.

AAW, How is Travis doing?

Is there even a spring in Coldspring? Just curious how it got the name

Watched Angleton play in a tournament this year. They are flat out terrible. Ozen wins by 15-20 points. Huntsville takes the region.
