Sorry, but Dale got support but as usual once someone's boy didn't play where he should the parents start the bitching and run the Coach and the AD in the ground !!  Sorry folks that''s life we don't always get what we want.  Everyone doesn't get a trophy !  I Also feel the program wasn't stong enough for Dale to walk in and take over.  He was a very unorganized person but.......  he loved his kids. I think he just might have been too nice for this school.  He loved to tell you what you wanted to hear.  Sometimes you just need to tell Little Johnny's dad "I'm sorry but your son is not going to play that position he just isn't good enough !"  And encourage them to work with the child more and not wait until the first day of practice and assume he is getting the position.  It takes a strong willed person to walk into this district and do what needs to be done and I think they have found the man with the back bone and the man who really doesn't care whose kid is who ??  For once I hope the parents stay out of Coach Franklins way and lets the man do his job ! Hey little Johnny might get disciplined but thats the name of the game.  Oh and Little Johnny may not play or be in the position YOU think he should be !!!  But unless you are a coach I suggest you leave them alone !!  It's embarrassing the way this town is acting on this forum and I am ashamed of a bunch of you guys !!  Once again everyone forgets about the kids and just has to stir the pot !!  Coach Colton I respect you for putting your name on here but it is only stirring the pot more and I think it's time to just leave it and let's move forward !  This has gone on too long ! Good luck to Coach Dale and also Congrats to Tracy Franklin !! 

What a mess he is walking into !!  I just hope for once the parents will leave a coach alone and let him do his job so he can rebuild this program !!  Congrats Tracy !!!

Have to agree the officiating was horrible !!  Cost both teams not only runs but put a bunch of kids on base that should have been in the dugout !!  But I will say it went both ways thats for sure !!  Good to see the Lions step up and play there at the end!!  Nice hits for Rowdy, Jared, Tyler and Austin to come back from a 7-3 Deficit to bring home the win !!  Good Job boys !!  Good to see some hard line drive hits !!

Unless you were standing there holding the stop watch I suggest you not say there is no kid running at least 4.5 or 4.6 !  Just let them show the district and trust me they will as long as they stay injury free.

I agree, I wish all of the Kountze starters had been well and can only hope they have a speedy recovery !!  Although Smart, J. Powell and probably Hanks are out for the season I still hope they can rally back and do good in district !!  Sucks for Hanks who has had impressive seasons every year he has played.  All of us Lion fans are sure everyone else wishes Hanks the best and hope he is able to return to finish his senior year.  Sure wish we could have seen this game with Smart, Brown, Hanks, Warren, and J. Powell on the field ! I think it would have been a game to see !  Good luck to the West Hardin team you guys should go far and Good Luck to our Lions and Hope we get our boys back on the field soon.  I hear Smart and J. Powell are done for the season but you guys remember there is always next year.  Would like to put out a congrats to #6 Jamazdon Powell and #20 Ernest Hafford----  Good game tonight boys way to work !
