1.
Really classy Sleepy. Rubbing it in 13-14yr old kids for losing..That's class!
You ought not be preaching "class" Mr. Bobcat! All this shows is Dove can say what he wants about other teams but the second we jump on one of these other schools we have not class!
 2. Taking notice? Not hardly! The only thing I am taking notice of is that dove has promised state championships from 2013-2015 and this performance at a tournament that doesnt include some of the states best programs doesn't bode well for his predictions.  That is a fact.
 3. Does the performance of the HF Seniors at the National Tournament change your prognostication of the 2013-2015 state championship run at Hamshire Fannet?
 4. Funny how the guy who is CLEARLY the best player in the area signs with a JUCO and we have a swag........i mean a guy griping about players not getting signed.  This should tell you that they are not good enough!!!!!!
 5.
This needs more attention!! I know these guys has helped their schools and put some Head and ASSISTANT coaches on the map. Even got some past and current coaches better jobs and more money. Soo now is the time to do them a favor and help them out. I dont know why any of these All State players aren't going anywhere. Especially from Hardin County!  :o :o
Some just aren't good enough.  Others only want to go certain places.
 6.
I have a hard time believing this, but two newbie posters started separate threads regarding Reggie Theus coming to Sam Houston State to become head coach of the Bearkats... Thought you guys would enjoy a chuckle with me, of course - unless this is legit. Still, hard to fathom this as a possibility...
Theus is interviewing with Depaul today.  No way he goes to SHSU.  PERIOD!
 7.
But I thought that prediction was him being Cal's assistant.
The prediction of Cal's assistant is if and only if one of them leaves.  None have left yet so there are no jobs open.
 8. Reliable sources say he is working hard to get this job.  Time will tell???
 9. Who do you think they will hire terror??
 10.
Gillespie is being courted by Tulsa.
Tulsa job is not open.
 11.
Just heard this on ESPN Radio. He's supposedly announcing his resignation tomorrow. I wonder who'll be in line to take that job. UH is a sleeping giant. Has been for years...
Weeks ago I told you Billy Clyde Gillespie would be the head coach. This will happen.
 12. If no one knows who HJ or Silsbee are than what about HF?  LOL!!!!
 13.
What goes up must come down!
Unfortunately for you what goes down does not have to come up!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!
 14. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! No Garrett Gustafson and Pheal Hill on all region team????? Joke.  Silsbee should have had at least two more on there!
 15.
Brooks? LOL...inherited a Foster team @ UH and nearly wrecked that program.
I laughed when I heard this as well.  Fact is LU is intersted in him sadly enough.  I hate to say I wouldn't expect it but I do!
 16. Some teams know how to play when they get there and others don't!
 17.
How about Billy Gillispie?  No, seriously, I'm not joking.  If he ever intends to coach again at a major school, he needs to revive his career.  Hopefully he has gotten his life in order, and I think Lamar would be a fresh start.
I would love Gillespie but I think he will get bigger offers.
 18.
Conspiracy theorists to reconvene in 2 yrs.
No conspiracy.  If......and I have said if from the beginning a Kentucky assistants position comes open he is GOOOOONE!!
 19. I told you guys he would not be fired.  Only scenarios that will matter is if he leaves.  We shall see in the coming weeks.  If Strickland or Barbee get the Depaul job I expect him to go to Kentucky.
 20.
Because you know someone and have a personal OPINION of the doesn't make it right!  Its funny how much you don't know!
LOL!
 21.

Recruiting is a crap shoot.  Most of us as fans have seen some coaches recruit very well and then run into a drought.  It's easy to bring the best guys in at the big time programs, but down here at this level you are tested.  I can tell you that the guys from this last class are excellent athletes.  If you watch Milk Harris practice, you'd understand what I mean by "great athlete".  The refinement is needed, but if it happens next season will be a vast improvement.
"Practice?" God, I hope your not a coach @ LU. I've known practice 'stars" all my life. Do everything in practice and look like superstars. As soon as the bright lights are turned on..................you figure it out!
Agreeing with you again Dove.  This is starting to scare me.  I will quote a man I cannot stand but he is right "practice........come on man we talkin bout practice.........we not even talkin bout games we talkin bout practice"  LOL!!!!
 22.
Sleepy, Roc was the recruiter with Tubbs. The head coach must approve the recruits before they are signed. All of that accountablity still falls on the HC.  Those recruits also played on Roc's team that won the SLC regualer season title.
Call it what you would like to call it. I honestly don't care.  Roc did the recruiting and they were HIS players.  Tubbs gave him full consent to do what he wanted.  Make it go for him or against him I do not care........I am just telling you what happened.
 23.

The point is to build a program.  Coach Roc had a very successful season two seasons that ended on a crushing note in the tournament.  The last two seasons have been injury plagued, and it would have been difficult for anybody to win. This is, at best, a mid-level program.  It takes more than three or four seasons to build a consistent program on this level.  If Roc is sent packing, how many seasons do you give his replacement?  If he has a similar record after three or four seasons under similar circumstances, should he be canned?  Does the school just continue a revolving door every four years if just minimal success is achieved?  My point: you can't build a program with that kind of mentality.
I have no problem with Roc coaching. It's the team on the floor I have a problem with and it's the coaching staff's responsibility to put out a good product (i.e. recruiting talent). Here lies the problem. We all know the best talent will go to big D1 schools. But is Lamar getting the best players with mid-level talent? I don't think so! These players are signing with other mid-level colleges.
You are dead on with the players dove.  I mean the kid from memorial going to UTA should NEVER happen.  As far as coaching I disagree.  Don't think he is that great and never have.
