it just sounds to me like you guys feel that the season suspension is justifiable....I should've worded that differently. It is a sad situation. HECK of an athlete. Also....hadn't heard he was arrested!!

yes it does!! I got to meet one of Donovan's teachers this summer and she raved about how great of a kid he was. Good luck on a great SR. year Donovan!!

He really is fast....I only saw him really take off a couple of times last year. In the TC game he broke one for 45 yards or so and one of their all-state speedsters was the one to tackle him. Breaking a long one on those guys is saying something. Hopefully he can get loose a little more often this year.

At Dayton, the philosophy seems to be that any chance you have to save a kid.... you take it. No telling what this kid's home life is like. Some kids go through more in the morning before school than some of us do in years. Those coaches may be the only ones believing in, respecting, listening, etc. As long as he is willing to work to change things I'm all for it. As far as the team's success goes, he's got to split time with the person that is available for the entire season if I'm coaching.

At that point in the season, Cody Just wasn't ready IMO and the cohesiveness of the Broncos as a whole wasn't up to that of WOS. There is no point in what iffing the situation. Week 0 is week 0 and trying to compare either team in the latter part of the season to week 0 doesn't change the score. You guys ran away with the game for multiple reasons and we'll just have to see how everything plays out this year. Not knowing WOS like I do Dayton forces me to go on what I feel...which is worth about nothing...Dayton by 10.

there have been a couple on each side. As a general rule I think both sides recognize how this game will be.

In the historical section there are only two games. 1996 WOS won 16-13 2006 WOS won 26-9 Not a complete history but that is all that was on the historical forum.

No reason? Well, I suppose there was no reason they shouldn't have held us last year. For that matter, the WO-S D might even keep Dayton from scoring two TDs, then, like they have in both previous meetings. Our top offensive player from the game last year is back and better, so I'm expecting him to be reasonably productive. I think this game will be close could go either way, but I'm certainly not going to put up any bulletin board material like you have.

Nobody in Dayton views them that way. I think it will be the same type game as last year except with dayton pulling away at the end. An off. with a few bugs in it will effect WOS just as it did dayton last year.

Won't be easy for either team. that's a fact. by the way...we are fairly talented as well. Dayton by 10.
