makes sense to me...Just an odd set of circumstances. I will say this though. Friendswood holding them to less than 20 is not a huge deal as say PNG simply because when you play someone year in and year out like Friendswood vs. LaMarque, you get a feel for that and everyone knows that kinda game is usually always a barnburner.

thinking back to last year....Our season so far is glaringly similar. Not just with the wins and losses but with the way the offense and defense has performed as well. I think this will wind up being a close game. Definitely a good test before district. Bronco1....will evan brown play in this game??

Last time I heard that a game would be on espnu.....espn2 picked it up as well....I hope they do this time also...I don't get espnu anymore.

we've played them the past two years in week two.....From talking to the coaching staff...I guarantee that no one is taking them lightly (except those on this board that are speaking out of purple pride)...They are always big, talented and very well coached....this year is no different. Their offense is going to be very good (Google Jacob Karam and see what I mean) and their defense always tackles well and is led by an all-state linebacker if I'm not mistaken.No predictions here....I hope the Broncos can rise to the occasion.

Yes, just a junior... I heard a little while ago that he will be out 6-8 weeks with torn ligaments in his ankle. Thankful that its not broken and that he might get to play again this season.

I put out a couple of text messages, etc. Still no word.

It was hard to watch cody go down like that and then sit there hurting on the sidelines. Offensively, we really struggled throwing the ball. We had like 6 dropped passed while Cody was in and he overthrew 3 or 4. I don't know if it was the moisture or what, but we didn't have trouble catching the 5 interceptions?? AJ did a fantastic job coming in and leading the team. I hope Cody is ok....IMO our passing attack needs him. AJ is a great playmaker, but the offense is better off with aj AND cody on the field....when we catch the ball and are a little more accurate. Hopefully we'll get to play in some dry weather soon.

I have no problem with them being at the top...I understand that they play both ways. In a poll it looks like the pollsters are trying to say they could beat the teams below them. All I'm getting at is ... they probably won't beat Katy etc. playing both ways. I wouldn't call that ignorance. ???

True...we will never know. I'm not trying to sell them short and I know they have a very high talent level. It's just not a fair comparison to some schools that suit out 3 times as many players.
