Plenty of talent on the field this year, just didnt have a much needed bellcow out there.  Even aj and cody had mike to shoulder the load when things were tight . I predict a good young leader next year at qb.....

A lack of familiarity with Vidors offense can cause problems.... which it did for sc . I think if you play that game a few more times, sc would win bigger each time.  One thing Ned would have to do if they were to play sc is finish. They had several short fields against Dayton and came away empty handed. Neds run game won't move the chains on sc like it did Dayton unless they find a way to start hiding he ball and sc's defenders won't let kimler run by.... for multiple reasons. Lots would have to happen for this game to be possible, but i just see sc stopping most traditional running attacks. Another worry in opinion is the fact that the Dayton qbs were able to scramble around.... sharp will hit the open man in this situation .

Someone mentioned the fans.... i was disappointed in the turnout and felt like he bandwagon types jumped ship after SC game. Oh well, thanks to the seniors for your hard work . Broncos never let up. By the way.... we have played y'all 4 times in the playoffs?  97, 04, 12 and what was the other one? Also, I don't think this is Ned's best team ever. Maybe their  best defense.... but then again maybe the offense was holding back yesterday. They did play extremely hard and didn't make many mistakes which is what I expected.

Having 800 more kids in your school has tons to do with the talent that is available. Yes, those schools with freak talent pools AND small enrollments like LM and WOS can put 11 on the field with anyone... but they're the exception. With that said, even though it can be an advantage/disadvantage, that can't be an excuse.  It's the playoffs and you just gotta line up and play.

Tony Brown - [Hidden Content] - kid could be and ESPN five star, don't know if we've ever had a five star in the SETX since espn has been doing the under armor rankings. Chevoski Collins - [Hidden Content] - best chance to play on Sundays is probably safety, going to probably get up to 210 or 215 at UT giving him a chance to be like Huff and Thomas 3. Alex Sezer -  [Hidden Content] - probably going to play corner, A&M is loaded in the backfield and at receiver 4. Deshawn Washington - [Hidden Content] - there have been comparisons to Justin Manning who is top 10 DT in the country out of Dallas Kimball for the 2013 class 5. Robert Mitchell - [Hidden Content] - I hope Central's season didn't hurt him. Crazy thing about 19-4a is other than Hogan all of our Big 12 type kids are only juniors and already getting love from the rivals and other services. Tune in around August and check the offers. It is a down year man, y'all have two teams over .500. Be it not for the likes of Collins, Brown and Mitchell y'all could have a weaker district than that. Those two may be better passing wise but they got their lunch ate when they played us this year. [/quote] #2 and #5 don't have the support (coaching, cast, and/or system) that MQ has though. They are prototype athletes (size is a big issue), look great in a uniform and show out at combines. MQ is a great high school football player! Those recruiters are marking the kids that translate over to the next level... maybe MQ will... but they haven't picked up on it yet.

[/quote] if sharp gets his eyes on the blitz, he won't get sacked. He's accurate on the run too. I almost think you might want him in the pocket, it felt like his completion % was higher on the move.... I'm not sure how, but he was "only" 13-21 against dayton. That slant(or drag, whatever) they throw to #7 is kinda deadly. Any space at all and he'll take it a long way. ask Png or Dayton what happened when they blitzed sharp....he will eat you up scrambling and then the receivers burn the d-backs with speed [/quote]
