Funny. Considering.... I hope Silsbee keeps doing what they're doing. Small steps in the right direction. It is a steady offense. Defense is and always will be the difference come playoffs. Honestly, I care less about what WOS does these days. Different district as well as all the bull that doesn't even come close to an interesting conversation anymore. Shutout, blowout, win, lose. I'll still be a Tiger Alumni. No Shame here.

Pretty sure once the ball touches the ground after kick then it is fair game once it hits the ten yard mark. Could be wrong... but what would be the purpose of onside kick if the receiving team was allowed to try and catch it off the bounce after 10 yards. maybe its just me...

Just wanted to send out prayers and thoughts from the Silsbee Community and High School to the Shadow Creek Families. Tragedy struck their football team and community Friday night with the sudden loss to one of their own. I know that Silsbee will be hosting Shadow Creek on Sept 30. so please keep them and their families in your hearts and minds while they grieve and begin the healing process. God Bless.

Havent heard this before at all... All Silsbee needed was a little humility. Those young men are learning with every practice and game. I guess everyone forgot that Silsbee wasn't stopping anyone defensively last season. Mind boggling. Keep it coming. They will keep showing up and there has been very few teams with their preseason schedule to date. The game against Silsbee will be beneficial, even for the almighty world beating Stangs.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings if we as a community leave this to the players. Love the enthusiasm but in no place to predict scoring. Preparation and execution.

Tyler took a long break after 1st qtr. Visibly frustrated. Credit to the young man for being humble enough to relax and I heard one senior giving the offense a dose for not doing their part and letting Tyler try to do it all. Adonis rotation was excellent and worked well because after half C took it to Jasper.

After we lost Carroll (SR Mike LB) early 2d qtr I was worried. Missed assignments have plagued our defense. Uribe and Sells came up big. Love that style of defense. We are used to way more big plays and this ground and pound is reminiscent of the veer days. Jones and Barnes ever get completely on the same page it could be damaging. Still would like to see Willie settle down a bit. Seems.... well I'll leave it for now. Big second half for C after calming down. Brooks did what he does best when a player starts spiraling. #TigerNation

Amazing second half effort on the defense side. Coach Allen gave them the one time after that long TD run. Lots of emotion coming from that conversation. Offense is potent. I know it doesnt show but man the missed opps and untimely penalties took 21 points off the board for SIlsbee tonight. Flat out wore the Jasper Defense out in the 3rd qtr. Come from behind win. A much needed win for player confidence. You could feel the tension leave the stadium. Congrats young men. Keep improving.

Both teams have less toes. Silsbee left points all over that field. Seriously, how many chop block penalties were called?!
