2.
The interesting thing about the Vidor/Nederland matchup on Monday is Nederland will be facing a full rested Hester for the first time. The main question is about this game is what Vidor team will show up at the plate. They have been hitting the ball pretty solid the last few games and how will they fair against Laird? I think this will be a closer game then the first one.
So Hester was not rested  when he gave up 6 hits in 2 innings of work last game Vidor played Nederland...That should be a good game since Laird & Bellow ..Smith ..Pitts..Brown...Brady.. Cardenas are all rested also ;D

So if GCM wins 1 of 3 are they in ? I do not see GCM going 0-3, what about CEK are they in the running ? Is BH totally out ?
If GCM finishes 1-2 and beats King, they should be in. That would have them at 7-7. The best King could finish would be 2-1 that would put them at 7-7. GCM would avance on head-to-head (2-0). IF GCM finishes 0-3 and King finishes 1-2. They would both finish 6-8. One game playoff. If BH finishes 3-0, the would be at 7-7. If the last scenerio occurs above, they would be the #4 team over GCM and King. As for the tie breakes, I do not remember the CEK/BH head-to-head. BH and GCM split. So yes, BH still has a "shot".
Hey Pats so their is a pretty good chance we will see you guys in the first round...That will be a little weird for T.Sonnier & P. Jacobs...And then they will become team mates once again in the summer..I am looking foward to all of it....

It looks like you could save him and have them both available (Bellow and Laird) for Vidor.
Laird 8wins 0Loss :ogood enough reason for me....It would be nice to jump out on Livingston & Kirb come out quick and you have both Laird & Kirb if needed for Vidor...But lets get past livingston first  ;)
 7.
hester will be on the mound tonight i know his family well and he will pitch and he was scheduled to pitch against nederland but for some reason the coach called him in the office on thursday and told him that he would not pitch i still dont know what coach green was thinking by that, those kind of decsions will get a coaches job
You have got to be kidding me  ??? Who are you ????The Mayor of Vidor..YOU MUST BE A KID ON THE BUBBLE OF BEING A AVERAGE PLAYER .. "R" MAYBE YOU ARE ONE OF THEM PARENTS WHOS KID IS BELOW AVERAGE..LIKE I SAID BEFORE VIDOR IS JUST A NORMAL BASEBALL PROGRAM WITHOUT GREEN...THIS GUY PUT VIDOR BASEBALL ON THE MAP ;)
 8.
Trae pitched last night. 8 K's 1-BB, 0-Runs 5-innings
no hits at all

But O/F takes this one [glow=red,2,300]...O/F has alot more hitting this year than in the past couple of years...It also hurts not having Kellog over in B/C[/glow]..It could go either way ...I wish I could be there but I "gotta" watch them dogs..Good Luck to both teams ..Both teams "R" full of great young men..
Pretty good guess
[glow=red,2,300]Picking BC in this one is sort of like picking Tiger against Mickelson - anything could happen but, dang, its Tiger!  How do you pick against him? [/glow]  That's how I feel about Hicks.  How do you pick against him?  I would take BC with him on the mound against anyone in the area.  If he doesn't get careless while ahead in the count against OF's two best hitters, he should shut them down.  I am partial being from BC but I know and like many of the OF guys also.  I hope it is a great game with good sportsmanship - from players and fans.  Appreciate it for what it is - one for the ages!  Good luck to both teams and GO BIG RED! ;D
Yeah but Tiger is a cheater :D just kidding had to say it...Its going to be a good game..wish I could go...

 15.
Vidor vs Livingston next week is big for the 1st half.
Vidor has this one by 4...Man I sure hope Green pitches Hester ....If not we will have to hear about it again ...They will have to start another freaking site on here ;D
 16.
Ill take 5-2 going in to the second round with Trae on Tuesday schedule....When Vidor make the playoffs it gives Trae and extra few day to rest befor the first playoff game which can be very benificial. The bottom line is you want to get in the playoffs and win. You can look at alot of the past state champions in all sports...NOT ALL WERE DISTRICT CHAMPIONS. As for Mr. Aggies Are We, I really wouldn't second guess a coach who has got a program from the cellar to competing for a district playoff spot each year. Just because you didn't get to see what you wanted doesn't mean that it was the wrong move. By the way Coach Green is going to do what is best for Vidor baseball...not the beaumont suprise....not for the television stations, and not what some internet coach wants hom to do. Sit back enjoy the ride and watch the pirates not only get in the playoffs, but make a little noise.
nice :o
 17.

So if u dont have a happy hester who can respect his coaches decision, u have a below average team. By not throwing hester last night to start the game, it was basically saying to his other pitchers that he has no faith in them to beat liv., and no faith in hester that he could shut down ned. , the way bellow shut down vidor
How can you say that? First off how do you not know that maybe you want Hester to start pitching on Tuesdays? Livingston is a playoff contender in this district. IMHO save Trae's arm for now because he will get his shot against Nederland in the last home game of the season.
I am glad somebody  said it... But that would not make any sence..eknights88  let Green coach the team....
 18.
Let me clarify my comments. I am not saying Vidor wins this game by starting Hester, I just think they had a better chance of it. Better vibe going in with your #1 on the bump, batters not feeling pressure like they have to score several runs to win. As for the errors, I agree, can't make that many and expect to win. But, in this case the errors really don't matter when you get no-hit. Vidor could have been flawless in the field last night but still would have lost because of them getting no-no'd by [glow=red,2,300]Bellows.[/glow] I can somewhat understand what Coach Green is doing in this sitiuation, but I'll stand by what I have said earlier. Vidor would still qualify for the playoffs by pitching Hester against the districts best teams. I just think it's too early in the district to be concerned about when to pitch who. I can understand if it was down to the final 2 or 3 games.
It is Bellow :D
 19.
Vincent Armstrong: 4 innings, 3 runs, 0 hits, 3 BB's, 1-K
Thats what I thought .
 20.
this game gets ugly without hester on the mound, look for ned to ten run rule vidor. [glow=red,2,300]I wonder what hester parents think about hester maybe not starting. I bet they are not going to be very happy when he doesnt start[/glow]
so :o
 21. Did Armstrong even give up a base hit? Vidor def. holds steady and does not make 5 Es Armstrong might carry a no-hitter into the 5th....Green can not get out on the field and play the game he can only coach it ..Hester was not Hester last night ..And give Bellow some credit he had his good stuff , no matter who pitched for Vidor Kirb was hard to deal with...But I guess it is Greens fault that Vidor did not hit ...Green had a plan and it was going good until the E's in the 3rd ...Hats off to Bellow and the Bulldogs for playing a great def. game ...And good job on some timely hitting Pitts..Nice when that DH hits in situations like that one....And last of all....Everybody can bash Coach Green but without him Vidor is just the same old Vidor ...He has turned that program completly around from what it was ...Keep up the good work and go beat P.N.G ..
 22.
without a doubt dionte needs to be the qb sonnier cant throw now if you want to try and run. for a couple of yards maybe so but no comparison at the qb spot dionte by a landslide. if anyone else takes the snaps it should be tyler smith but i think he would rather play baseball did anyone attend big neds games this year?????
You better go to a power "I"....Dionte way to slow for the spread and I promise Sonniers arm is just as strong if not stronger than Diontes... Smith has a very strong arm also...Dionte needs to be a def. end ;)..Sonnier needs to be in the secondary ...We will see.
