  4. The best Diceman is... "Little miss Muffet sat on her tuffet eating her curds and whey, along down beside her came sit down a spider and said "Yo ***** whats in the da bowl" hehehe just a favorite. And I neither keep up with "Morial" You know they have to have a ton of talent down there in ole PA.
  5. I am not sure how much the Admin. has to do with it, probably more of how much $$ is left in the A.D.'s Budget. I would think that the coaches salaries would have to figure into the dept.'s budget and as to how much he can spend per Asst.
  6. Wow Biggio will be in the Beaumont area 2 times in same season :-D Good Luck with your homecoming game should be a good one. We faced both teams this season. Both are scrappy but I have to give the upper hand to Kelly, at the time they just looked a bit more together and not as emotional... I understand that was back a month ago and things change... just going off what I seen.
  7. This is for Romo and his Pinky...... PUNT! : :o : And Yes I am an Old Cowboy fan!
  8. 8) I voted :-D GO TEXAS!!!! I got 3 words for you..... FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!!!!!!
  9. Just a gut feeling here but I think we only put the pigskin on the turf 1 time Friday night... again just a gut feeling... my boy TR has a huge night along with Mr. Peevey and Mr. Pittman. The Offense line will bust off the line with Mr. Moose Burns and Mr. Chase Groves plowing the way. The Defense will come large and in charge. TIME TO KICK THE TIRES AND LIGHT THE FIRES BOYS OOORRAAAAAHH!
  10. I believe genetics is a part of it, but it even goes deeper than that. If the parents believe in the coach and is behind the coach program 100%, and are always talking good about the coach in the home life, then the young adult will buy into the program and work harder and pay more attention to the coach thus making it successful. Because if the child doesn't do well then he thinks his parents will believe it to be him and not the coaching.. on the other hand if the parents are not behind the coach, then the young athlete hears nothing but negative about the coach and his program, he will not give 2 cents about trying to succeed. This is just my opinion. There are probably a dozen or so opinion's to this question, this is just mine. If the athlete accepts the task/position he is assigned whether it be his favorite or not and still gives his all it works. If the athlete is given a task/position that isn't his favorite then he loafs and gets benched then its the coaches fault, even if the athlete that is playing in this ones favorite position is better than him... It all stems from the athletes, you can read it to them from a book, you can show them a DVD, you can get a professional coach from the NFL to talk to them, but if they do not buy into the program, execute it and strive to be the best, the program doesn't work. Athleticism is a big part of it, but attitude always plays a big part. Again just in my opinion.
  11. Bears Wake Up Moody... Pimp Slap Lions!! not likely but could happen... hey its 20-4A football anythings possible
  12. Pirates Arrested For Assaulting PN-G, Abuse Charges To Follow Indians Lose Tomahawk... Pirates Pillage Endzone L-Train Takes Wrong Turn.... Only To Run Over A Lost Panther
  13. Its all in fun. Now Corey being on the radio... I would love to get a copy of that ... I bet he had more women wanting autographs than Texas had Points HAHAHA
  14. I agree that is another problem we have been having. Ozen's little fast back I believe #21, showed us we need to break down and keep him in front of us instead of going for the highlight hit. I do not know if PN-G has anyone with his elusiveness but if they do, we need to work on keeping them in front of us.... wrap up and wait for help. That and I have noticed throughout the season we don't gang tackle as well as some other teams. Another thing the coaches may look into working on. Was it me or where not as aggressive to the backfield against Ozen as we were against Central and Lumberton? I mean them games seems like we always had someone in the backfield causing confusion and it didn't seem we did the same thing to Ozen. I am also glad that #18 doesn't run very good routes or that kid would light up a score board. I am not sure on his age but if he could run some good routes he height would give a boatload of people fits on coverage.
  15. Glad to hear it. I am sure this will be a great game. Good luck to both teams and congratulations to them SHARKS!

  17. Hey Bear <-- notice the nickename.... Last time I looked you wasn't a bean pole yourself LOL
  18. Wow, so you thought he was serious about the whole hands in the car doors thing. Wow, lighten up. No I just think he could've came up with something better than that, you know being the president of a Football Club and all. You figure somewhere within all the years of being a president you gain some wisdom about football and know how to critique and make suggestions but I'm not going to make any assumption from here on out. President Carter could've said something more logical than that. Well I guess since this isn't the place the problem will be fixed nor the place the fix to the problem will be found, it really did not matter what I said. And I guess I am just not up to your standards Pirate78. I am all ears to your fix to the problem. I did not mean it in a demeaning way I'm just saying I did not understand your logic behind slamming hands in a door. And it is not my problem to fix but I'm sure Coach Mathews has faith in the excellent staff he has employed to fix the problem. But your right the problem will not get fixed by us bashing each other on here. We will find out Friday if Coach Mathews and his staff have fixed the problem or not. Sorry for any miscommunications or degrating Coach Comeaux. HAHAHA ooohhh none taken. I for one can take a ribbing trust me. But as I said this is just a forum to more or less shoot your mouth off and be knocked around for it. I am a 100% Vidor Fan win or lose. Nothing will ever deter me from that. I support from start to finish no matter what the record is. Its all in fun

  20. I have answered this one time before, but no I do not. And if you think that was as serious answer to the problem, then .... how did you put it... "that was probably the most ignorant thing I read on here by far"... I am assuming it was to far to reach as I have had another ask the same question. The point I was trying to get to was for the young gentlemen to get mad enough to hold on to the football instead of dropping it. I apologize if it wasn't clear for you.
  21. That is one thing I love about the Vidor "faithful' Fans... Not the ones that only show up because Vidor has been doing well, but the fans that go every Friday night no matter how bad we are doing or how well we are doing... They get there early and leave when the clock is at 0:00. No matter what the score is the people I sit with week in and week out do not leave our seats until it is over... And there are alot of fans from Lumberton that are the same way. Support your community and your schools ... not when things are going well, but when things are going bad that is when they really need your support.
