  1. Hmmm might be a great Fund raiser for our future Lamar Cardinals ..... I am pretty sure you could fill that stadium up over on MLK .... or possibly have it at the New PN-G Burial Grounds... er Reservation... J/K PN-G couldn't pass it up.
  2. LCM has a vote? thats the first vote lcm has had since week zero! Now THAT'S a dedicated fan! Maybe just MAYBE it was a mistake?? : I do believe it was Coach Tater's Pick.
  3. Break down on the 20-4A picks... Ned has 24 picks to win Liv has 11 Cent has 33 Ozen has 2 Lum has 24 PN-G has 11 Vidor has 34 LC-M has 1 hahah and yes I was bored....
  4. I do not see Ozen putting up that many points..... Vidor fumbled against them 5 times and 1 interception and Ozen only put up 21..... and with that many TO's Vidor only lost by 7... I see them maybe putting up 2 on Central... Should be somewhere around 31-14 in Central's favor... IMO
  5. Nederland Bulldog found at Vet's office, evidence of Lion Mauling.... Vidor Turned Down.... Taxidermist Says He Has Enough Bear Cubs To Stuff ... Indians Confirm Light That Ozen Found In Tunnel, Was Indeed A Train.... Titans Still Babbling About The Brook!! Ozen Comes Up With Short End Of Wishbone again......
  6. HEY the village called .... they want their IDIOT back!
  7. > that is very sad. Who ever did this needs to either be hung in town square and have the SRs shoot them with Red Rider BB Guns or.... Coach thought he needed a bit more effort from the kids in the game upcoming with Carthage... Just my thoughts no accusations meant....
  8. Hey Ref that yellow hanky isn't for blowing your nose! or on the other side of the coin... I bet your going to need Tommy John surgery after throwing that many flags!!
  9. Vidor 9th Grade 22 LC-M 9th Grade 07 Vidor JV 21 LC-M JV 00 2nd qtr.
  10. Let's not overlook this team. Sure would be a shame to overlook someone and lose and not make the playoffs. You know the old saying.... "that's why we play the game...." You think Vidor is taking a beating now because we are having a good season and it is only because "the District is mediocre". Let us loose to LC-M and we will never get any respect.
  11. Let me clarify my post, I'm not bashing volunter coaches by any means, believe me I've coached youth sports (Basketball, Baseball, and Football for 15 years) so I feel your pain and pleasure. I was simply posting to some of the parents that were gripping about what they called "daddy ball". Let me share a quick story with ya'll, ok ready, I had a son that was born at 29 weeks and weighed 1lb 5oz. He was a miracle baby and after 3 months in Texas Children he ended doing great, no mental problems, just pretty small for his age. I let him play when he was 9 years old tackle football. Hey he weighed 45 lbs soaken wet. It was one of the best memories because he stuck his head in there with all the big boys and didn't back down. After that season, I told him when he gets to middle school and wants to play, go for it. He'll be in Middle school next year and I hope he still wants to play. Anyways didn't have alot to do with this topic, but it did have to do with memories for a kid that might be way too small come high school football to be able to play youth sports. Anyways just wanted you guys to know that I wasn't trying to bash anything your doing, because without you guys there would be no youth sports programs in this area. Scalp'em I know exactly where you are coming from!! My twins were both born club footed. 1 of them had both feet clubbed and the other had only 1. They were born 3 weeks early but weighed over 6 lbs a piece. Had surgery on their feet when they were a year old, wore full leg cast until they were about 1 and half. I have pictures of both of them, with cast on, standing in their crib. It is a joy and a pleasure to watch them run. And a real joy to watch them enjoy sports as a whole. To be able to watch them accomplish what they do, after knowing what they started with, makes my chest swell with pride. Sorry had nothing to do with post but just felt like putting it out there.
  12. *Out from under rock* Nice post! *back under rock*

  14. Prayers From Vidor. Hope the young gentleman gets well and recovers fully. God Speed and Love!
  15. Vidor... Win or Lose they usually fill the stand at any park they attend.... Sometimes I feels sorry for the kids on the other side of the field who have a hand full show up for a game and Vidor's visiting side is full. Vidor hasn't had the storied past of Nederland, PN-G, WO-S, Westbrook or any of the other programs, but Vidor's fans show up week in and week out, year after year, Loud and Proud. I Think PN-G and Nederland also have a large following. I can tell you that when Vidor played in BH that we filled their stands even on that far of a ride. We may not have a lot of trophies, banners, or state championships, But we do have a lot of pride and we show it at our games.
  16. I agree with you and coming out in the first half like we did last night. We came out and punched PN-G in the mouth and didn't let them get into any kind of rhythm. Held on to the football and stayed with the game plan.
  17. Way to go!! Congrats to Mr. Royal got a highlight on Tailgate Party and a name mention.
  18. ;D ;D How bout just go 3-0 and not worry with it
  19. I agree coach, Livingston and Nederland APPEAR to have the toughest road followed by Vidor, Central and then Lumberton. However, if we have learned anything the last 4 weeks, we know that we don't really know. You are correct sir ( Best Ed McMahon voice ) as they say looks good on paper...
  20. I would have to say that Lumberton looks like the front runners ( for now LOL this is 20-4A ) I think maybe Nederland come up suspect tonight after losing to Central not sure how to take that one.... Is Central getting better? or Nederland running into some competition?? Livingston still not sure about them after watching PN-G tonight... Not sure how but LC-M puts 24 on them??? after only scoring 7 against Central and Nederland? Vidor keeps on about the same pace minus the turnovers..... nothing spectacular just getting the job done... so I would have to say right now 20-4a will probably end up like this: Lumberton Central Vidor Nederland/Livingston Lumberton has PN-G, LC-M and then Nederland.... Unless PN-G wakes up Ned is only potential problem Central has Ozen, Livingston and PN-G left and I only see Livingston giving them a battle Beat Vidor, Nederland, LC-M and Lost to Lumberton Vidor has LC-M, Nederland ( homecoming ) and Livingston with Ned and Livingston being Key games. Beat Lumberton, PN-G Lost to Ozen and Central Nederland has Livingston, Vidor, Lumberton... Very tough road ahead... Beat PN-G, LC-M, Ozen. Lost to Central Livingston has Nederland, Central, and Vidor another tough road ... Beat PN-G, LC-M, Ozen and Lost to Lumberton Looks like it will probably be a last week of the season before we really know the way the schedule is laid out.
  21. Congrats Soulja!! Good luck the rest of the way. Looks like the 20-4a is a scramble from here on out.... I guess all that field watering paid off ;D
  22. WAY TO GO PIRATES!!! 1 game at a time. Well I believe we have the fumbles down to a minimum. We moved the ball well until we would commit a penalty. PN-G just looks flat. I have never seen a team from PN-G look so uninterested. Usually they have so much energy it is unreal. It is like they are going through the motions but hardly caring about the outcome. I am not bashing I am just giving my observations and do not mean to offend anyone. Vidor did come out in the first half and get the ball moving. We did not wait until the 2nd half to start throwing haymakers. They do have some very classy players. On several plays tonight I seen them help up our young men off the ground. My hat is off to them that is something that shows true sportsmanship no matter what the score board says. At times the PN-G O line looked very good and other times it looked like they took the play off... confused... It is like they are getting tired in the first half... Good luck the rest of the way Indians. Again this isn't meant as bashing just what I seen tonight.
