Dayton's offense is pretty dang good though, esp #18.  For nederland the theme of not being able to run the ball continues.

Nederland has played much of the scrimmage with at least two,  sometimes 3 non starters on D line and the whole scrimmage with backup safeties.  Kimler went out after first play.

Who did they move to the o-line

So then how can you determine a "winner" if Nederland plays their backups half of the time and WOS leaves the starters in the entire time?

What if neither 1st string teams score? And Nederlands 2nds scores twice to WOS 0, does that mean Nederland "wins" the scrimmage???

Ok.  So Crosby is fast.  So what makes you think that Nederland can't handle that speed?

Ok, I get the phrase "that was last year and this is a new year".  But practice has not even started THIS year.  So to make the statement "nederland can't hang with crosbys speed"is based on what? 

Sorry for the word "whipped".  How about 3 times in the last 2 years?  You make a statement about Nederland not being able to handle Crosby's speed, but have nothing to back it up with.  We lost to one team last year that was loaded with speed (Dawson) and held our own against them.

Pana-    PNG was driving to win the game at the end.  So it was close to being 4-0 as 2-2.

Did you really just reference the LCM game.  Once Nederland was up 21-0 they pulled starters on both sides of the ball.

I remember Nederland playing Ozen at home in '99 I think. 

Nederland had several chances to win that game, but turned the ball over in the red zone a couple of times in the first half. 

You are correct.  Everyone has at least two losses except Vidor( 1 loss) and Nederland (0).  If PNG beats Vidor it gives them 2. If nederland beats ozen they have no losses with one game remaining.  Nederland can still be outright champs even if the lose one of their last two games as long as vidor loses one also.  So nederland fan should be pulling for png and Livingston.

I have to disagree.  Have you ever seen players at all levels turn to the crowd to get them to make noise?  If the answer is yes, then the players are aware of what the crowd is or is not doing.  Now do I think they players should be worried about the crowd during the game?  No.

I think it was a good thing for Nederland that Ozen to beat Livingston.  If Vidor loses one of their last two,  Nederland can still win the district outright even if they go 1-1 the last two games.  But I would rather them be perfect in district.

Hey Aggie,  why do you care if their punishment was cut in half???  It's NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!!  You don't need an answer to that question.  Do you live in the   Nederland district??  Do you pay taxes to NISD???  If you really need to know go to the administration building and ask.  I'm sure they will tell you everything you need to know about matters that are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
