I agree that coaches and players should look at film and try to exploit all weakness.  But, I'm making fun of your "inside analysis" comment!  My crystal ball says that SC will have a much harder time than your "inside analysts" are leading you to believe!

Nederland is 1-1 at Reliant.  A loss to LaMarque and a win over Brenham.

I do think Nederland is one of the better teams in the state, but wasn't Dayton #4 just a couple of weeks ago and SC not even ranked?  And we all know what happened there.

Yeah.  The article linked on page one of this thread says he was injured on a late hit in first half and never came back in the game.

Wonder what type of injury their QB has?  Could make a HUGE difference in this game!!

Didn't nederland also lose to Ozen during the"Rita" season.  The game was played in Baytown and nederland won the first half.  But Ozen abandoned the spread and lined up in the I and ran it down our throats and won.

Did Soulja just say that Nederland's pass defense was a weakness?

Uil does realignment every two years.  This is year one.  So SC will still be in 4A next year.  Even if they add 1000 new students.

I heard Dayton had a couple of players hurt Friday night, is this true?  If so, I hope they are ok and  Dayton can play Nederland at full strength.

I'm curious how many yards Ned's defense gave up for the game.  Could not have been more than 100.  I'm not sure if Lumberton crossed midfield?

That picture was at least 30 minuets before kickoff.  Notice all of the general admission seats already filled.  I bet if PNG didn't have 2A sized visitor stands, Nederland would have filled them whatever size there were!

How is Vidor's secondary this year? Does Cooper still play Safety? I went to all the Vidor playoff games last year and was really impressed with him.

Can anyone give and injury update/status on the players that were injured before or during the Dayton scrimmage?  Kimler, Pryor, etc.....

Nederland did not sub until 4th quarter?  Nederland had 6 backups on Defense for almost 3 quarters.  As someone stated above, 3 D-lineman, a LB and 2 safties.

Kimler went out on first play with a cut on his chin.  Never went back in and never saw him on sideline.  I assume he went to get stitched up.
