Tigervoice, Bobcat05, and Lazeek gets no love!
That, sir, obviously puts me in very elite company.
You are the #1 guy on this forum in my books! Elite is an understatement ;)

I dont want to cause too much trouble, but I remember being told by quite a few people on this site about the "history" and how it's "tradition" for Silsbee and HJ to split the district games.. I saw this coming from the start of the season and knew that HJ had NO chance of beating Silsbee.. The next things that I predicted is that HJ and SIlsbee will NOT play again this year ( In other words, HJ will lose before they reach Silsbee again in the playoffs ). On on a much more friendly note, Congrats to the Silsbee Tigers for TCB and setting themselves up to win another district title! And good luck to HJ with the rest of their season and getting ready for playoffs!
HJ could have easily won either game.  Silsbee is certainly the better, deeper team, but HJ absolutely has the talent to beat this team.  HJ held a lead at the end of 3 in the first game, and a lead with 1 minute left in the 3rd in the 2nd game.  Silsbee's depth helped them pull away at the end of both games, but i'd challenge you to find anyone who saw either of these games who thinks there's NO way that HJ could beat Silsbee.
This sounds too much of a Woulda Coulda Shoulda If HJ will beat Silsbee than it won’t be an easy task like you stated Can’t say that HJ could or will beat Silsbee because it has not happened this year Just Sayin’
You obviously don't understand the phrase "Could easily happen".  All i was stating is that they were in the game, and if a few things break differently and they're 2-0 against Silsbee rather than 0-2.  Now, I've already said that Silsbee is the better team, but for this guy to say that HJ has NO chance to beat Silsbee is asinine, as HJ has aready held their own with them twice.
Hey buddy.. Whats asinine is you still thinking HJ can beat Silsbee THIS year :D But if you want me to get technical, which is what I think im going to have to do here, any team has a chance to beat any other team since there a two teams and only one team can win, so it is technically a 50-50 chance.. But the realistic chance is 0%.. Dont believe me? The results for THIS year show 0-2, which means 0% :o :o :o On another note, my negative karma seems to be taking a major hit ever since I openly discussed HJ on the public forum :D :D :D Maybe if i try hard enough, I might catch up to BADSANTA

I have been to several of Nederland's games this season. They have a good team but when you put a lot of pressure on them, they struggle. I'm just saying 20-4A is down this season and when the playoff's it will not last long. I hope I'm wrong because I like watching this team play.
they struggle, really?? Enlighten me please. How many TOs do they average when they are pressured?  Did U watch them deal w/pressure against every team they played in the YMBL Tourney and every team who presses them?? How about refer to an instance instead of speaking out of your ears about generalities??
Nederland has played some terrible games this year and they were under pressure for most of them.. West Brook was one of the worst and Memorial was just as bad.. Turnovers like crazy.. Even some games Nederland has won, they have looked bad.. Nederland is a good team, but not great.. At least, not yet ;) They have more potential than most teams around here of being great Nederland's success will be determined by their lay-out of getting to Austin, in other words, how many times will they have to play G-Ball, LaMarque, or Yates.. To be completely honest, Nederland can beat LaMarque and Ball. Those teams just put better players than you on the court and win that way. Nederland can match-up with their guys and give them a good game and even win with the right amount of opportunities.. Yates is a completely different style of Basketball.. They are the biggest obstacle.. BUT all this talk wont mean anything if NED doesnt TCB every week and play consistent ball like they can.. Good Luck Nederland and finish strong

 13.
I watched G-Ball in the Nederland tournament and there is no way that Nederland can hang with them. They don't have the big's to contain their big's. Come on people, get real they barely beat PNG. 20-4A is extremely weak this year.
On a match-up basis, K-Smith and Forney can hang with Evans and Pettaway.. Just saying

If J'Covan and J-Ham go off then Horns by 20. UT plays the best defense in the country IMO
Hard to argue against that point Scooter ;) They play some solid defense.. UT should win this game if they play with-in themselves, but them Aggies are going to be fired up at home! I still think Texas ends up winning by at least 10
they are holding their opponents to 38% FG shooting.
Yeah, that is really something.. I hope Texas beats them little Aggies again and holds them under that 38% shooting :D
UT  >:(
 17. @ HJ*, So I like Silsbee by only 5
 18.
Exactly, the offense is trying to get you out of your defense so to do so you're giving Nederland the advantage. The kid down low got caught up and didn't block out. Kelvin did a great job, Dionte was also just looking up and didn't crash the board.
:D Typical
 19. It never seems to matter with these two teams.. Always a great game! I can tell you one thing, Nederland has the most close-game experience in the entire area for sure  ;)
 20.
Do you see what having dominant bigs in the middle will do for you?  Both are 6'5" and both have moves down low and play good defense.  If you can consistant medeocre games from the guards, this team will not go down easy for Yates, Ball (they know who Nederland is already), or LaMarque...
Having two guys down low and a few play-makers on the perimeter is exactly what a team needs to be successful in any classification ;) I believe Nederland is a point guard away from being the team to beat in the region.. Consistency is going to be key for them in play-offs, and taking it a game at a time will be a big part as well.. The success for them in the playoffs will come from two things: 1) Great team defense AND 2) Controlling the ball (Limiting Turnovers) But can Nederland win state? It's going to one tough road to get there if they do..
 21. If they make it out of Region 3, then they have a great chance.. But Nederland will have to go through LaMarque and/or G-ball and/or Yates... Tough road to get there, but it can be done.. They have a better chance than a lot of other 4A teams out there, not just our region  :D
K. Smith is in the top 5 in the area, and he deserves a mention.
Which one? I know 2 K-smith's.. Ned or Central?
Nederland. Right?
You take things out of context too much Mr. Nash..
