  1. A celebration of normalcy.
  2. [Hidden Content] From the article: "Squad" member Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., retweeted a video produced by an anti-Israel organization previously investigated by the FBIfor possible terrorist ties. On Tuesday, one day after she posted a now-infamous tweet likening the U.S. and Israel to terror groups Hamas and the Taliban, Omar retweeted a post including a video produced by the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). The video shared by Omar depicted a Palestinian child being carried off by Israeli police forces as an explosion is heard in the background. In 2010, ISM was deemed by the Anti-defamation League (ADL) as one of the top 10anti-Israel organizations in the country. The FBI has also investigated ISM for possible links to terrorists, but FBI documents reported in 2020 by the Intercept did not detail any charges levied.

  5. lol, probably so, we live in a country full of folks that wake up looking for something to be offended by.
  6. Democrats would never go for it, Hagar, it would severely derail the poisoning of young minds with liberalism.
  7. [Hidden Content] From the article: Have a Merry "day off" and a Happy "day off"! That’s the message from the school board of Randolph Township in Morris County, New Jersey, which unanimously voted Thursday to remove holiday names from their academic calendar following an uproar over renaming Columbus Day to Indigenous People’s Day, according to reports. Now holidays like Thanksgiving and Memorial Day, as well as Jewish holy days like Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, will simply be listed as "day off." "If we don’t have anything on the calendar, we don’t have to have anyone [with] hurt feelings or anything like that," board member Dorene Roche told Fox 5. 🤦

  9. lol, have a nice day.
  10. You said you never met a Christian that wasn’t a hypocrite, I would say that means ALL. Busted
  11. True, and getting more popular every day.
  12. [Hidden Content] This is about the mainstream media, for that poster that never grasped the term. šŸ™‚
  13. Not sure there's an uproar here either. There is a a difference though, Whataburger has always been a company with deep Texas roots. Would hate to guess how many ball parks carry their name.
  14. So all Christians are hypocrites, says the guy who doesn't approve of judging folks, lol.
  15. What is your opinion about what Nickelodeon is doing? By the way, if you think the Bible tells us not to ever judge the actions of others, you're wrong.
  16. Yep, read it. My post was in response to Whataburger being no longer Texan run and possibly becoming "woke" if run by the Chicago crowd.
  17. Everyone should take the time to look at many other polls that Politico/Morning Consult have conducted and the results, it's very good entertainment. Thanks for the morning humor, actually made me laugh out loud. I just did a poll and 1/3 of the Trump haters believe this poll.
  18. [Hidden Content] 🤦
  19. I think that's the reason lots of older folks (myself included) in the US don't enjoy watching soccer, we never played it. Soccer wasn't played in school when I was there and my kids played some soccer but mostly other sports. I can definitely appreciate the athleticism required to move a ball down the field and score with no hands, lol.
  20. [Hidden Content] Outstanding!
  21. No doubt there's always a bad side to everything. This is an enormous load on parent(s) if done right. That's why I said I probably would not have made the cut for this, not a whole lot of parents would.
  22. [Hidden Content] 😰 Poor baby
  23. [Hidden Content] More pushback...from the article: A Virginia mom who endured Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution before immigrating to the U.S. ripped a Virginia school board at a public meeting Tuesday over its stubborn support of the controversial critical race theory. "I’ve been very alarmed by what’s going on in our schools," Xi Van Fleet told the Loudoun County School Board members. "You are now teaching, training our children to be social justice warriors and to loathe our country and our history." She likened CRT, which critics deride as a form of "neo-racism," to China’s Cultural Revolution, a Mao-led purge that left between 500,000 and 20 million people dead from 1966 to 1976. The estimates vary greatly and many details have been shrouded in secrecy for decades.
  24. Agree 100%, I have been around quite a few home schooled kids and most seem to be confident and well rounded. The ones that have entered the public or private school systems are many times more advanced than their peers. I think it's great, but it takes special parents to pull it off, not sure I would make that cut, lol.
