[Hidden Content] From the article: During an appearance alongside Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, both leaders were asked about the U.S. withdrawal and evacuation process, with Harris being asked what she thinks went wrong. "So, I understand and appreciate why you asked the question. And I think there's going to be plenty of time to analyze what has happened and what has taken place in the context of the withdrawal from Afghanistan," the vice president said. "But right now, we are singularly focused on evacuating American citizens, Afghans who worked with us, and Afghans who are vulnerable, including women and children." Harris added that "we have a responsibility and we feel a deep commitment to making sure that folks who helped us are safe." The vice president went on to praise President Biden for having "shown great emotion in expressing sadness about some of the images we have seen" but reiterated that the U.S. cannot be "distracted in any way from what must be our primary mission right now, which is evacuating people from that region who deserve to be evacuated." š¤¦āāļø

Couldnāt agree more with your #1 point, I donāt trust our gov as far as I could throw them. My question is, why would black Americans continue to vote by a huge margin for the party that wants to grow government to have more control over our everyday lives if they donāt trust them?

[Hidden Content] From the article: A father in Colorado Springs who is the descendant of slaves slammed critical race theory during a public school districtās board meeting, saying racism in America would "by and large be dead" if not for institutions such as the education system "keeping it on life support." "I am a direct descendant of the North American slave trade. Both my parents are black. All four of my grandparents are black, all eight of my great great grandparents, and all 16 of my great greats. On my mother's side, my ancestors were enslaved in Alabama. On my father's side, we were enslaved in Texas," he said during a board meeting last week. "I am not oppressed. I'm not oppressed and I'm not a victim." The unidentified father went on to say that "racism in America would by and large be dead today if it were not for certain people and institutions keeping it on life support." "Sadly, one of those institutions is the American education system." The father of three went on to say that he "can think of nothing more damaging to a society than to tell a baby born today, that she has grievances against another baby born today, simply because of what their ancestors may have done two centuries ago." "There's simply no point in doing that to our children, and putting critical race theory into our classrooms in part does that. Putting critical theory into our classrooms is not combating racism. It's fanning the flames of what little embers are left. I encourage you to support this resolution. Let racism die the death it deserves."

[Hidden Content] From the article: Staff Sgt. William Bee, who was one of the first Marines to deploy to the country after Sept. 11, 2001, told Fox News Wednesday evening that his wife ordered him to stop watching so much news coverage after he grew irate over some of the developments. "It wasn't too much trouble getting in there," Bee said. "So why was it such a problem getting everybody out?" Bee, who nearly died more than once in Afghanistan and was photographed ducking for cover as a Taliban sniperās bullet exploded on a stone wall inches from his head in 2008, said it was ludicrous to pull out the way U.S. forces did and that a private first class earning one-tenth of what the Joint Chiefs of Staff are paid could have come up with a better solution. "We pay the Joint Chiefs $16,000 a month; we pay a PFC $1,600 a month, and I guarantee you, if I ask a PFC, hey put your crayons down, if you let me know a good way to get everybody out of Afghanistan. And he could have came up with a better program," he said.

[Hidden Content] Biden admits what many of us already knew, he's not capable of doing this job. The only folks happier than the fools that voted for him that he's President are the Taliban. From the article: Matters continue to get worse for President Biden as critics on both sides of the aisle panned the comments he made to ABC's George Stephanopoulos about his administration's turbulent Afghan withdrawal. Just moments after Biden walked away from the White House podium without taking questions following an address focused on the coronavirus, ABC News released clips from the sitdown taped Wednesday afternoon and more of the interview aired on "World News Tonight." Stephanopoulos pressed Biden if he thought the withdrawal could have been "handled better in any way." "No. I donāt think it couldāve been handled in a way that- weāre going to go back in hindsight and look but the idea that somehow there was a way to have gotten out without chaos ensuing, I donāt know how that happens," Biden said. "So for you, that was always priced in the decision?" Stephanopoulos followed. "Yes," Biden answered. "This is a presidency-defining clip. And itās really bad," Commentary associate editor Noah Rothman reacted. "This is such a slap in the face to the thousands of Americans still in Afghanistan. He had no plan, he has no urgency, and he wonāt take responsibility. #Shameful," former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley wrote.

[Hidden Content] This guy is an embarrassment...from the article: President Biden on Wednesday said he's asking Education Secretary Miguel Cardona to go after states with bans on mask mandates in schools, up to and including taking "legal action" against them, even as a crisis rages on in Afghanistan. The president's remarks on masks in schools Wednesday came as the military struggles to evacuate American citizens and allies from the Kabul airport after the Taliban swept into control of Afghanistan in mere days. State Department communications are telling Americans they "should consider" going to the airport for evacuation but that "the United States government cannot ensure safe passage" through the rest of the Taliban-controlled city. "Today, I am directing the Secretary of Education ā an educator himself ā to take additional steps to protect our children," Biden said in remarks at the White House, after which he did not take questions on Afghanistan. "This includes using all of his oversight authorities and legal actions, if appropriate, against governors who are trying to block and intimidate local school officials and educators." "As Iāve said before, if you arenāt going to fight COVID-19, at least get out of the way of everyone else who is trying," Biden added. "We're not going to sit by as governors try to block and intimidate educators protecting our children."

[Hidden Content] From the article: Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tubervile slammed members of the left-wing "Squad" for being "closed-mouthed" about protecting women in Afghanistan after the Taliban took control of the country. "I have not heard one word from all of these women in āThe Squadā in Congress saying anything about protecting the women of Afghanistan. You know, theyāre closed-mouthed right now. It doesnāt fill their narrative. People ought to be sick of this. They really should be. But weāll work through this," Tuberville said Tuesday during a radio interview on "The Jeff Poor Show."

[Hidden Content] From the article: As the Biden administration faces yet another self-imposed crisis, they are once again falling on their favorite talking point: blame anyone but us. Itās become a common refrain from the Biden administration. And one that usually has very little truth behind it. But here, when facing one of the worst international crises in years, those words are particularly pathetic and painful. Itās been almost seven months since President Biden took office. In that time, he made quick work of reversing dozens of President Trumpās policies and positions, including Remain in Mexico, the asylum cooperation agreements with Central American countries, the Paris climate deal, and the Iran nuclear deal. Yet he claimed to have no choice but to move forward with the withdrawal outlined in the U.S.-Taliban agreement despite the severely deteriorating situation on the ground. Despite the fact that the agreement was conditions-based ā for a reason ā and the Taliban had completely failed to hold up their side of the bargain. His decision was clearly political and not remotely based on the situation on the ground nor our national security interests. Not only because he chose the 20th anniversary of 9/11 for the withdrawal date ā a move that likely caused the terrorists that targeted us to celebrate another victory ā but because he and his staff have repeatedly cited public polling as the reason behind his decision. Rather than take the advice from his military advisors, he makes his decision based on polling data. š¤¦āāļø
