Reread you post above....lol..... Every sports Silsbees play b4 the season start you'll get on here talking about how Silsbee WILL BE THE DC......THE MORAL TO THE STORY IS DONT COUNT YOUR EGGS B4 THEY HATCH.
I highly doubt hotrod gets on here before the season starts for every sport. I would be willing to bet he doesn't give 2 craps about football and basketball.

Heard there was a lightning delay for a little bit, then it got too late to play. What a shame.

GCM lost to channelview 11-9
GCM lost to Langham Creek 5-0
0-3 on the season
You mean they haven't won a game, and they have 3 bandito black players? That's just crazy.

Who is pitching for both teams?

Uribe. Playing first correct?
He will help out on the mound too. He will be their 3rd best pitcher.

Congrats. I had the pleasure of playing for Z there. Better get in real good shape!!!

Sounds like some seniors aren't as good as mommy and daddy tell them they are. Being a senior doesn't guarantee you a starting position.

He's talking about current kids that play baseball year round and no other sports. We played 12 little league games plus a few all-star games then moved on to the next sport. We didn't have the option of select baseball year round so we had to find something else to do.
I know what he's talking about. I'm talking about what was his reason for having Tommy John? I didn't play year round, and I had Tommy John. What exactly is year round baseball? Do people actually play non stop 12 months a year?

Yes, 12U for the fall and 13U for next spring.
12u for the fall? Don't you play the age you will play in the spring, during the fall season as well?

On a side note, if 1-9 didn't hit Shugart, not sure how they all hit 94 easily!!
-
I'm not posititve, but maybe he was referring to the competition Silsbee has faced in the playoffs the previous 2 years. Again, I don't know, cause I don't know who they played.

How is it possible a guy this bad, gets a game this big?
-
Ive seen shugart throw in the past and know he is a heck of a high school pitcher..but when does 86-88 with a slider equal a pro pitcher? Im sure he touches 90-91 but he doesn't pitch there that I have ever seen. I know he is a bulldog on the mound and love that fire but is what kind of pro prospect is he really coming out of hs? Is he expected to be drafted?
I got drafted out of high school pitching at 87-88 toping out at 91. I wouldn't say it can't happen, but it is a little less likely nowadays since they don't have the draft and follow rule anymore. However teams will take a chance on kids if they believe they have good projectibility. I'm not saying this is the case for Shugart, as his size really doesn't help him out much. I've watched him pitch numerous times this year, and I would say he sits at 89-90. Haven't seen 94 myself, but have been told by someone I trust that's he's hit it. His biggest asset in my opinion is his competitiveness. He's gonna stand on the mound and punch in you the mouth repeatedly.- BigRedMachine and Critter

It is for most kids, fyi.

And they threw him. Like I said earlier prob could have won without him and let him rest.
Could come back to haunt them.
You, don't rest your best pitcher, because you are gonna play again a week later possibly, and you dang sure don't rest him in the playoffs. I'm pretty certain 6 days rest is plenty.
Go back to the Silsbee thread where you were second guessing that coaches pitching decisions also. -
Are the Crosby players annoying and cocky like their posters?
-
-
Very beatable and but they didn't score one point at all in either game. The confusion continues...
Speaking of confusion, I thought baseball scored runs not points. -
Heard Carter is pitching now. Didn't he throw 100+ pitches on Thursday?

Not for the same reasons. The Young Tigers are gonna have to trust in each other and play this game with everything they got, plus What they don't even know they have yet.
I have faith in you "young" tigers.
Let's go!!
Oh I know the reasons behind your comment, that's what lead to mine. Sad situation, but hopefully they will overcome it, and pull out a win.
