If Deweyville keeps up with the winning, within a few years, they will bring home a State title!

Congratulations to the Bridge City Cardinals on earning a playoff spot! Coach Cris Stump and staff and players worked hard to deserve it! Congratulations to Orangefield on a great season! This was the beginning for Coach Josh Smalley's head coaching career! They will enter next season a better football team!

Could Deweyville win a State title in football under Babin? There could be a possibility! They've proven themselves to being from a pretender to being a true contender!

I could have been the head football coach and turn it into a contender even as an 11 man program!

The playoffs have already started for some teams! The 21-3A District Championship game is like a first-round playoff game for most!

Where will they play? Will they play at either Provost-Umphrey, the Butch, or at Baytown, maybe at Barbers Hill? Somewhere between. What are your thoughts?

I'd wish BMT would get Red Robin and TGI Friday's!

The Cattle Company and Marvin Atwood's place are great, too!

The best overall talented school in 3A should be balanced in athletics both male and female,  academics, and community service/political involvement/citizenship! Don't y'all agree with that!

I bet they will their throwback jerseys and stripe pants like they had been doing for homecoming for the past few years! I love their throwback unis!

Route 66!

Just because it's a bye week doesn't mean they can slack off! They still have practice. Also, the team needs to scout other teams they will play coming up! Hopefully, WO-S will scout Orangefield! Everyone knows that districts in the area are the toughest in the State, especially 21-3A and 20-4A!

It's not fair they mentioned SHSU over LU! We have an advantage over them having the having one of the best athletic facilities in the Southland Conference! Why they mentioned SHSU over them? Is it because they're closer to Houston (one hour from there)? LU is closer to Houston but only one and a half to two hours away! Does it make any sense at all?

I really wished TWC would carry CSN Houston in addition FSN Houston. Go to Iwantcsnhouston.com.

Also, the Cards didn't win because they didn't play as well as expected! Other than that, they need more fans in the stands!

[/quote] Last year was USTA Football's transitional year because it's their first year of existence! They improved significantly! It'll be very competitive when it comes to recruiting for college football for San Antoine pretty soon because UIW started football most recently and will be an upcoming member of the Southland Conference! I'm hoping there will be a UTSA-UIW rivalry like in the Alamodome!

Change will never happen overnight! Change is going to be gradual! Those are my thoughts on that! Just ULL, USF, UCF, etc., they took plenty of time to get their football program to the top! If LU follows suit, it'll take time for a FBS program to be competitive (only if they go that level)!

I'm tired of penalties just like everyone else! If I were both coaches, I would do something about this! Won't allow that in district!

I'm telling everyone! In November, get out there and vote and show a great example of being a responsible citizen toward younger generations! If you have not yet registered to vote, please do so, NOW! This is your country! Don't make any excuses! Register to vote and when it's time, cast your ballot and encourage everyone to do the same, too!
