Wow, people rather see the UT game live than a Lamar road game live. They went as far as complaining to the station an now the station will show the Horns live and LU will be tape delayed. Lamar really has its work cut out.

A lot of people complained and now they will show the UT game live. Says a lot about LU's perception.

If this team stops getting dominated by other SLC teams, then maybe people will start showing up.

I honestly see where UNLV is coming from to an extent. Let's take UTSA for example. UTSA punched New Mexico State in the face 35-14 today and are 5-0. -UTSA appeals to the community, Lamar doesn't. -UTSA knew from the start that they were going to play FBS football, Lamar designed itself for FCS. -UTSA is looking nowhere but up. Lamar is content with staying put. -UTSA is easily outrecruiting Lamar. UTSA started playing football a year after Lamar and I can bet that they would blow out the Cardinals. At the same time however, if Lamar isn't prepared for FBS, then there is no point of moving up.

I'm not sure how good or bad this Lamar team is. They played two Low level FBS schools and got destroyed They played the likes of Prairie View and Langston and shut both of them out 31-0. A SWAC and NAIA school respectively. The Lions on the other hand, were rolled by SEC newcomer Mizzou, South Dakota State a strong team in the Big Sky and Tennessee-Martin. HOWEVER, they edged out McNeese 25-24. So, I'm giving the edge to the Lions. 24-21.

Until this year, Tarkington was godawful. What happened over there? Did kids from Cleveland transfer across town? If they manage to beat Cleveland, I think they will make the playoffs. If they lose, I think they still make the playoffs as the 3rd team.
