Now the district that FB Marshall competes in is extremely weak.

For the seniors Thank You for a great season that may could have been more if you didn’t have to transition to a new coaching staff. 
 

Holdren & Hagler will be missed next year, but I still half faith that the Eagles will return next year ready to complete with a full year under Abseck.

What I’m saying is that advantage BH had at the line of scrimmage won’t be there this week. That’s probably going to make a huge difference with how BH has to operate. FB Marshall was a finesse team that wants to get in space to use their athletes, Consol. is going to try to run it straight at you with their big o-line. They have a better rb than you just faced with FBM and a receiver that’s probably the fastest I’ve seen on film all year. If their qb doesn’t get hurt they probably beat Montgomery and are ranked in the top 10 themselves. 
 

Playoffs games are about matchups and I think this is a tougher one for BH. That central Texas style of grind-you-down play mixed with the personnel they put on the field has been tough for our district to deal with in general though, only team I can remember Crosby beating is Brenham.

FB Marshall got outplayed, out executed , out conditioned , ....THEY GOT WORE DOWN.   Watch the game on TexanLive.   BH controlled the game from midway 2nd Qtr until the end of the game.   BH punched them in the mouth and staggered them.  

Who you play early in the year and how tough a district your in is important heading into the PLAYOFFS.

So senior year comes and my boy ( the one that would of been giving up on by our coaches) started all year and both ways for a lot of games.  End of year all district DL, academic All district, and a football scholarship in a small school in Missouri (that I help him get) not his coaches.  Not saying they didn’t do things fir my boys I’m sure they have and I’m sure they mean well, but my other son has talent more than the oldest one I just told u about.  He’s a little different but gifted somehow they don’t see it.  I’m not one to have blinders on when kids are involved.  If my kid had no potential I would say.  All in all I think HH has plenty of talent going through, but the playing field isn’t level.  Status, money, personal relationship, should not get in the way of business.   Best kid should play bottom line.

Wouldn't say they beat BH handily , more like BH self imploded.  But PNG did win the game.   Texas City Defense is pretty good.  I will go with Texas City tonight.
