AHUDDLESTON

Watched it today on NFHS. Perfect strategy from Coach Taylor. Snap with 5 seconds left on clock. EC proved that strategy was best. They scored quickly.

The Wolverines are now2-0 on the season after a loooong trip down to Lake Charles. 48 - 0.

His certification is under investigation according to sbec.

Don't forget that when you play in other states, you play by their rules. Texas uses NCAA rules while Florida uses NFHS rules. That being said, STA looked to be the far superior team all game.

Sadly, a lot of school districts choose to let the pervert resign so they don't have to report it and take the time to go to court. If you remember several years ago a Memorial coach was jailed for this and when it came out that there were allegations at other schools, the girl sued those schools. I don't remember the outcome of the lawsuits. My favorite professor at Lamar, Coach John Payton, always told us to never be alone with any of your students. I have lived by his advice now for 33 years.

Isn’t that the truth!

Is this elite? 10 years - 2 games over 500- only 9 victories over teams above .500 - no play off wins - total winning percentage of teams defeated - 33%. I have heard it is an elite resume.

Ten years- 6 district champs(or co-champs) 4 second place finishes( the 4 years Carthage was in the district)

1st Head coach that I worked for. Knew Coach Heck when I was in Jr. High. Hell of a man and family. RIP! Praying for Debbie and the kids!

After 4 years in Louisiana as a head football coach, and getting Mansfield to the third round of the playoffs for the first time in 32 years, Coach Darrell Barbay has been named the AA Coach of the Year! Congratulations!!

Yes, it is a point system. 10 pts for win, 1 pt for each opponents win, 1 point for each class and division that opponent is above you. then divide by 10. The really weird thing is we went to divisions instead of classification. Most of the people ranked above us are 3a while we are 2a.

Still not used to these power rankings. 4 from our district made the playoffs. We were District Champs. We play a district foe in first round and the other two play each other.

The defensive coordinator never signals the defense until after the BC players look at their watches.

So how did the BH scrimmage go?

Was he ejected? it looked like he avoided the SS who was making the play and ran into the 3rd baseman. I could be completely wrong. Just going by this short clip.
